I'm not having that problem, I've been back and forth from the bathroom since the surgery, my surgery was on Wednesday! Are you walking?? I've been doing a lot of walking and sipping. Try moving, if not everything will be fine, I'm sure.
Thanks for the encouragement. I have stared walking more and getting better output. Hopefully that will help get rid of the gas too.

Am 3 days out and I still struggle to barely pee drops. My stomach is swollen. Any suggestions about how to get this to pass?

Had mine yesterday. It took forever to get out of the hospital. I have eaten broth, Jello, and some New whey liquid Protein.
I also had a hiatal hernia repair. I have hiccuped and that was straight up painful. However, ultimately I have had little pain. The gas pains are a bitch, but walking and more walking helps.
I am an itchy mess. I am happy that I got this done. I do want to try to chug Water, but my body will not have it.
They sent me home with a leg compression pad system. That thing is awesome. It reduces the risk of blood lots. I highly recommend this equipment.
Good luck to all of the remaining sleevers in August!!!'

Am I the only one that didn't really have a preop diet? My surgery is on Friday and I only have to do liquids only for wednesday and thursday. Its so amazing to me that some of you have had to do a MONTH of that!
I had one week of super high Protein, lean meats, and veggies. I don't have a fatty liver though. That's probably why. Also, my blood tests were normal for almost everything.

O I have seen videos and read that there are smells. Bo is more common, horrendous bad breath, scalp stink, and general funk. Tell me true if this is a legit fear. Also, tips? Carry baby wipes or shower 3x per day or what? I have to go back to work (close quarters cubicle setting) pretty quickly.

I told God and everybody. I want accountability. I also don't want people asking over and over what I did. I am not a overly-sharing person. I did not put that on Facebook though, only people I see regularly. Facebook is only getting the results.

Me too! We can be surgery buddies! How are you doing? I'm ok just nervous and most importantly excited!
Also, GOOD LUCK!!

I am ok. I am ready. I have the most oddball questions though, like bo issues and pregnancy and just the most random stuff.

Ow long is it really before you can get pregnant? I have heard 12, 18, and 24 months. What's best? My doctor told me that I would be super fertile after the surgery.

I am on the 19th.

I am not scared. I am not excited. I am ready. It's been such a roller coaster to get insurance to cover it, get everything in order, do all the medical tests, deal with multiple medical offices and the hospital, and deal with everyone either telling me it's stupid or that they were jealous. I want to have it done. I want to slowly see that this will pay off.
Also, now that I know that I have a hiatal hernia, I want that done too.
Realistic Weight Loss & Energy

Have not lost dramatic weight like I expected. I am only a week out. I try to exercise. After work and having to sit up all day (I also had a hiatal hernia repair), I am utterly exhausted. I am so tired that people keep asking me if I am ok.
So what is reasonable loss? Are my expectations too high? How can I boost my energy and mental snap? I have a very brainy job that requires concentration. I am struggling to maintain, and I am slower. This will not work.
I will appreciate any help or tricks you guys can provide. The only thing I have heard that might work is to carry honey around. Yes? No?
THANKS!!!
