Yes , you can feel it! It feels sore and tender and sticks out larger than normal. You doctor can tell you for sure :Dancing_biggrin: I hope your port is fine because going through this surgery is just like the first time. All the pain and liquid diets. Just not so gassy!

Hi , I had my port replaced today !! It had tilted the wrong way . So I got a new low profile port and small extra tubing (down from 3cc down to 2.5.) Swollen from surgery , feels like I am starting over. Happy , tight band surgery diet started all over again. I have 42.5 pounds left to goal of 180. Good Luck with port .

I must be a rare pig around here. With a lap band and about 2.8cc in a 4 cc band , I gained about 55 pounds!!!! I ate everything from ice cream , to fried chicken , nachos .. I had a ball. Now ... I still have 37 pounds until I'm back down to my smallest Lap Band weight :rolleyes2: I'm still working on it , got a fill , training myself again on eating and losing weight . I will NEVER ABUSE MY BAND DURING PREGNANCY AGAIN!!! IT WAS NOT WORTH IT ... AT ALL !!!

WW is wonderful for a lap band patient !! I initially l lost 90 pounds before the birth of my bouncing baby boy:) Now , with a good fill and my WW tools on board I am ready for round two!! I use WW E-tools and have attended meetings on and off. I believe balance is important to success with the lap band. Physical activity is also essential for weight loss. Do I feel depressed some days about my baby weight?? Heck Yes!!!! Do I wish I would have ate less junk??? For Sure!!! Do I love myself and know I can do it again ??? Absolutely :rolleyes2: ** Since April 1rst I have already lost 16 pounds** Good luck to you all !!

Hey !! I'm in Dallas , but I go to Dr. Maese for fills at Preston/NW Hwy. He's good , has gotten skinny himself. I had a fill this morning ! Very restricted !! Finally :thumbup:

Hi Marissa, I'm 26 and I got banded at 24 years old. I had a baby at 25. So, I have more weight to lose. But having the band has helped me stabilize my weight better. Good luck to you in your journey:)

:phanvanHello Board, I'm Amber and I'm here for support. I was banded March 2005 . I did so well and lost 90 pounds by my One year banding mark. Then , I got a beautiful surprise to being thin ..... you can get pregnant! So now today I am the mother of an 11 month son and have lost 42 pounds. I have 48 pounds to lose to be back to my pre=preganancy body. I have a 4.00 cc band and have 3.6 with hardly any restriction Anyway I'm going to get a fill and begin my journey again.
