    JULY 2014 SLEEVERS GROUP

Just keep doing what your doctor has told you. This journey is a marathon not a sprint race. I watch other peoples tickers also and compare. I was stuck up till yesterday for about a week at the same weight. Remember we are all different, age, medical conditions, and medications. Each one of these factors play into the weight loss. Just keep on keeping on, you will do great.

    JULY 2014 SLEEVERS GROUP

Hi all July sleevers, Today while leaving work, a lady said he Jordan your about to loose those pants, need new uniforms. Of course I said yes been working on it since January, will be getting new uniforms soon. Then she said, I can really see it in your face. I acknowledged I could tell in my face some. Then she said, "I like it before, when you loose weight in your face it makes you look older" I was floored. Apparently her mother never mentioned, "if you have nothing nice to say, then shut the hell up". So I'm feeling punched in the gut and want to hear from folks like me. I sure enjoy reading your post. Oh all I could say was yeah fat people make pretty corpses, and walked off.
  4. Sunshine22, I think your amazing. You are taking steps to make yourself feel better. I am on the very beginning of this journey. I start week 5 yesterday. I know when I reach my goal I will have to have thighs done. They have always been oversized even when I was thinner. I understand the scars and the fear of them looking bad. Just remember why you are doing this, it is for you and you alone. If you are uncomfortable then you change it. Thank you for your post. It was encouraging to me.

    JULY 2014 SLEEVERS GROUP

I bought expensive liquid vitamins from GNC... they taste horrible an after about 4 days started making me nauseated. I have switched to gummies for the multi vitamin and calcium. I have liquid drops for the vitamin B-12. I am starting week 5 today.

    JULY 2014 SLEEVERS GROUP

I am not sure what a scoop is, my doc goes by portions of a cup. I just finished week 4 - I can usually finish 1/2 cup thin soup or skim milk, 1/4 cup of other things pureed and about 4 oz of yogurt. I've been pureeing tuna and chicken salad but can eat less than 1/4 cup The thicker it is the less I want, but nothing over 1/2 cup.

    JULY 2014 SLEEVERS GROUP

I had my surgery July 19th, 2014. My starting weight was 257 in January 30 I started a three mth medical supervised diet. On surgery day I was 240. Today starting my week 5 I am at 219. I mainly came looking for answers. My weight loss has slowed to about 1 pd per three to four days. Anyone out there in near the same time frame? I know we are all different just kinda wanted to know other peoples rates. I'm scared my physical activities are not enough.
