thankyou,my thoughts exactly,i have three young boys,so i do know what it's like with youth, and if i come across as shouting as mentioned earlyer, this was not meant to be the case, just have my view points and tell it how it is,up to others how they take that,so thanks lunabeane for helping get my view across.i also prefer to write in capital as i really cant be botherd putting caps lock on and of all the time. -
I Would Like To See Drunk Drivers Feel The Pain And Turmoil That They Put Apon Inoccent Familys, australia Is Way To Soft, and Unfortunetly Cant Moniter All The Drunks Out There E.g Evan Taking Away There Licence, they Can Still Drive If There Not Court,if A Drunk Ever Did Anything To My Family I Could Not Forgive Im Sorry To Say,people Need To Learn There Limits With Drinking, its Not A Game, infact,i Would Probably Take Things Into My Own Hands And Take The Drunk Out Of The Picture,so I Hope That Day Never Comes.my Opinion Only,im Sure There Are Those Out There Who Want To Wrap These People In Cotton Wool And Say Every Things O.k,but Reality Is,its Not!

I THINK YOUNG PEOPLE OF TODAY DONT APPRECIATE WHAT PEOPLE DO FOR THEM,NOR DO THEY RESPECT OTHER PEOPLES PROPERTY,YOU ONLY HAVE TO GO TO THE SHOPS OR DOWN THE STREET TO SEE WHAT IM GETTING AT,ALOT OF KIDS GET CARS ECT...EVERYTHING BROUGHT OR HANDED TO AND SO BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT HAD TO PAY FOR IT/WORK HARD TO PAY FOR ,THEY DONT GIVE A TOSS,NOR ARE THEY OVERLY WORRIED WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF THEM AS THEY DONT SEE THEM SELF AS BEING THE ONES WITH THE PROBLEM,I KNOW THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH ALL YOUTH,BUT IT IS FAIRLY COMMON KIDS TODAY ARE BROUGHT UP WITH NO RESPECT FOR THERE ELDERS.JUST MY 2CENTS WORTH:cursing: -
Well I Have To Honestly Say,big Girl You Are Beautifull Buy Mika Was The First Song I Heard From This Artist,it Was On The Radio, the Song Sounded Catchy, however I Didnt See The Music Clip To It, Til About 2wks Arfter That, the Clip Could Have Been Put Together A Bit Better/alot Better, thanks To Those Who Put Up The Youtube For Everyone To See[i Wouldnt Have A Clue How To Copy Something And Put It Onto Something Else If You Get My Drift]but It's All Good,i Would Rather See The Dixie Chicks ,jimmy Barnes In Concert Than Pay To See Mika, but Really Cant Afford The Luxury Of Those Things Anyway With Young Children.so To Open Things Up,what Kind Of Music Do You All Listen To,and What Music Do You Prefer When Your Working Out?
-

my docters said same thing about the gas,i used to enjoy a can of pepsi max in summer, but since my band and not haveing cool drink in so long,if i have a sip,i dont enjoy it and end up divideing the can betwen my boys,so i really dont have it anymore,i have water/coffe/tea and juice from time to time. -
hi,this probably wont make sensce but if you can help me then that would be great.i now have 9.5 ml in my band and my band holds 10ml[so i have the maximam they will give me]my problem is that i can eat chocalate, say half a family block[naughty i know]samboy chips, hard chewy lollies ect..feel full when had a big binge[with out being sick],but when i have salad and chicken or vegies ect.. i can hardly eat as much[ i should stick with the healthy option i know]i wonderd if my band has moved,a friend of mine has had hers corode into her stomach so i feel im over reacting as im worried that my band might have problems, i geuss my question is can you get down more processed foods over fresh, hope you understand what im trying to get at.im concerned as i can eat more than what i feel i should be able to eat.thankyou.p.s,i will get it xrayed if i continue to worry, its just a 6hr drive for me to see my specialist,so hope you guys can give some input:cursing:

BLUE EYED GIRL replied to JA4602's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
i think its worth trying and getting another fill and see how you feel,im also at home alot,do you have a cross trainer or anything you can do inside[i bang on a dvd when doing mine, passes the time]my kids do hockey once a wk wich is great/the mums do laps of the oval while waiting for the kids to finish,so thats nice, you could also try the wii fit for fun/motivation,your not the only one who eats when they are not hungry,i have also been haveing a dreadfull time with this lately, only to find i put weight on then i get more depressed.my band helps at times/but we still have to be the ones to make that lifestyle change happen.hope you get some great advice from people to help you get ontop of things. -
im overweight and i found dodgeball hillarious,i think it depends how we feel as a person wether we let things get us down in life,i get more hurt at imature young peoples comments down town, and i also love that song big girl[you are beutiful]its just so catchy
-
terridoodle, how much fluid is in your band,i used to eat a big bowl of watermelon for lunch, really enjoyed it.not sure how i would go now, should try it.
-
great to hear from you all,i also love my summer fruits, stone fruit/watermelon,havent tryed since my fill, however i can eat bannana? the freddo's a great idea, how ever its a 15km walk to get one each day[smile]my hubbys working on a farm,so we dont live in town, sadly our farm is in a drought,so we had to find another imcome[but our farms closest shop would be an hour away]you know when you tend to buy foods for the kids and end up eating it yourself[i tend 2 shop once a week in northam]but seriously,my eating habits have gotten worse,i find im eating when im not evan hungry[very bad i know]somthing just has to click for me to get motivated then im right[but i dont want to be waiting to long for that to happen.]my kids have hocky on a thursday,so a few of the mums do laps around the town oval while waiting for the kids to finish,so that's a nice way of getting extra exercise,i think your lucky fanny adams to be able to eat bread still[yum] i know i will enjoy eating healthy again, just need to adjust and get used to it,fanny adams,i was so hanging out for a roast when i saw your picture you posted on what r you haveing for dinner[cant exactly remember what it was under, but o boy it looked soooooo nice]

tight pouch after sleeping in...
BLUE EYED GIRL replied to gingerkid's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
hi,i feel tight at night when laying in bed,i make sure i dont eat an hour before i go to bed,i do feel it a little in the mornings/im not much for eating breaky.maybe it depends on how much fluid you have as well,as i didnt feel any tightness or problems til 9.5 ml[my band holds 10ml] -
What I'm cooking for dinner tonight!
BLUE EYED GIRL replied to Luscious's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
how odd is that,i love pumpkin soup[i can imagine giveing scraps to pigs/chooks ect..]the best vegies are straight from the vegie garden, yummy,so much more flavour than from the supermarket.america is a bit over the top with there food choices,id have fresh dinners over canned anyday.:rolleyes2: -
thats good to know jacqui,i geuss i listen to my friends to much/they have only a few mouthfulls of yoghurt or chocolate and are sick,so i just thought that would be the same,it has tacken me alot to feel the restriction,i was so worried there was somthing wrong with me,it's like sometimes i feel restricted and others nothing, mostly when eating crap food,so i was so glad when you said about being able to eat a pkt of biscuits ect...as thats what i was able to do,then of course down on myself when i put it back on,i just have to keep reminding myself of my goal, why im doing this,i have 2 wks left of tonyferguson milkshake diet food/left over from when i had my lapband put in,so i might just use them up before they go out of date, might give me the kick starter i need,i dont want to rely on it however due to extra cost when i dont need to fork out for it when you can eat healthy and get same results.thanks for the great advice,to some people, some people may think some post's are silly, but when you hear others say things you wonder if your surposed to have same reaction, then you think yours isnt working, but i geuss its a bit like some people can eat bannana, others cant, some bread, some cant ect....so i hope if theres anyone else out there who was feeling like me that these people have shed some light on the matter.

thanks for your 2 cents worth,i do need to hear it,my eating habits have been a shocker latley,i dont as such have an eating plan[had just stuck with salad and chicken ect...]and i was loseing the weight by doing that,i geuss i was haveing chocolate ect... first instead of last[dreadfull i know]i had waited so long for my 9.5 ml,geuss not eating the junk food would some how be easyer,i can eat most food except bread/can eat it well toasted however,i geuss i think the worst of am i going to be the one with a band problem[but hey,if i keep going i may very well be]so i need to pull my head in and remember whats important,i geuss i thought the band was going to make that lifestyle change easyer, but you still have to make the right choices and exercise, thankyou everyone for your help and support,i needed to hear your feed back as every ones journey with the band is differant.thanks.gail

hi ari, thata great you got your wii fit for that price,im in w.a so got mine from country target,i think for us over hear if we went thru ninendo itself we would have to fork out shipping cost ontop, wich may end up costing the same[not sure]we used to have the nintendo 64,that had warranty problems and it had tacken ages thru shipping and service! just a thought anyway.but if you can get it for less then fantastic

sorry,i have a wireless key board so all the letters arnt comming up when im writting, hope you can make sense of it all funny adams, will put new battrys in.sorry

i know what you mean,my occasional treats have just been 2 occasional[smile]you have in one way done better with your weight than me/i have had my band 1 yr comming this july,i know within myself i could have done alot better, but im hopeing by september to get to my goal weight of 60kg[i hope,if i can get control and stop putting on instead of loseing]you have great advice, and i know withing myself that what your saing is true, just need a wake up call to get back on the wagon again[smile]still adjusting i geuss, doesn helthat the bad fods do go down so well,i geuss i compare to much to others i know with the band, say for example they could eat 5 squares of chocolate, where as i can polish down heaps more/i used to be able to eat 2 value meals at hungry jacks and still be hungry, theres no way on earth i could do that anymore,so i geuss its differant for everyone and where they feel that restriction[if i just didnt eat the chocolate it would be easyer, cause my trouble is stopping at just one]how you going with s watson,r u happy with the amount of fluid he's putting in for you?

we love our wii,we have wii fit[got on sale]its great,i dont rely on for my full workout,i do it as extra[fun and extra weight loss at the same time]there are so meany choices,i also think its great for kids not just sitting there like xbox and sony, they get involved with the wii and gets them moveing[id rather that, not that my kids have a weight problem, they have there dads lanky height ect....]if you get a wii fit im sure you will really enjoy it,i paid $120,but if you think about it,some games on there own cost $100,so i think its good value for the game and platform.from one happy wii player 2 another.
