My story....I am 36 and I have always been a big girl. I remember putting on a size a year in HS and I couldn't figure out why. I wasn't eating that much different than any one else my age.
Fast forward to the age of 28/29. My Dr and I talked weight loss and he put on Meridia. It was the first time in my life that if felt like a switch had been turned off in my head. I wasn't hungry. I could eat normal if not small portians. In 5/6 months I dropped 40 lbs. I couldn't believe it!!! So that's when it was time to have a baby! But no monthly friend and Husbands boys checked out A OK ;)!!!!! My Dr sent me to an OB GYN and right out the bat he says lets test you for PCOS. Low and behold another light came on and made sense. We were able to get pregnant and have a BEAUTIFUL baby Boy who is now 6. That is where I am at now. I'm stagnant. I tried for 4 months last year of working out 4/5 days a week and maybe lost 5 lbs. Aunt Flo is on vacation unless the Doc gives me some magic pills, and the ovulation word well forget about that.
I've always been interested in a bariatric surgery but not of my insurances have had it is as something they cover. Until now.
Soooo here we go Ladies and Gentleman. I am starting my story no my Novel on 9/11/14 with my 1st Dr appt. I'll keep ya'll informed.
