    The bariatric nurse told me that all this is normal, she went threw it herself. I'm only two days out not feeling it yet but I'm sure the holidays will bug me to no end. That'd not saying I won't want to shove something down someone's throat tomorrow when I'm looking at the juice, broth or jello.

    I know a few different people who have had the surgery and they both drink carbonated drinks. Maybe just some time is what's needed.

    I'm pre-surgery but I do know you don't have to give up your favorite foods we just have to moderate it. If you don't allow yourself to have what your craving in small amounts when you finally give over you will binge on it. Best of luck.

    I can give you from person experience on reduction. I had it done due to other medical reason, my on/gyn actually recommended that I have it done. I LOVE IT! It has been four years since I had it done. I did have complication but not due to the surgery, I developed a very highly allergic reaction to anything with adhesive.

    If your NUT was like mine they won't accept that you can't do artificial sweeteners, even after telling her that my urologist said NO. The six months I was required to see her I only lost four pounds due to the stress she was putting me under.
