Thanks everyone. I just wanted to know. It's not like I feel like I have to go, but it just dawned on me that I hadn't, lol. Also & I don't know if this has anything to do with it, I can barely finish my 3 Protein shakes a day. Let alone drink Water. I'm just super full & if I push it I get bad hiccups & gas.

I'm 2 days post op & all I can say is: take it one day at a time. I took my iPad to catch up on Netflix & I never looked at it or my iPhone to text. I had no energy for any of that. I just came home today. Walked around my local CVS a couple of times waiting for my meds, came home & have been napping. Good luck to you and best wishes. Keep me posted

Hi everyone! My surgery is on 10/13. I have gone to all my appointments and fine everything required for surgery. I'm feeling superrrr excited and can't wait till Monday. Ps. This pre-op diet SUCKS, but I'm sticking to it 100%. What's your story?

Hello everyone! Very frustrated.... WARNING... Curses coming... So yesterday my insurance co (UMR) called my surgeons office and told them that I needed 3 more nutritional visits (May, June, July) before I could have my surgery..WTF!? The info was faxed to the insurance with plenty of time & now, just before surgery she wants to pick up the damn file & review it. Can I please know WTF she was doing all this time? My doctors office faxed the letter to her & today she says she needs 3 detailed letters with a bunch of other details ????. I'm waiting for my doc to come in and approve this so they can fax the letters over to the insurance lady & see how fast she can review my documents & approve my surgery. What pisses me off is whyyyy did she wait till the freakin last minute??? Ughhh... I'll keep u all updated!

Sadly, my insurance decided YESTERDAY that they need 3 more months of nutrition classes. I'm very upset, sad... So dissapointed because I've done EVERYTHING. I've been doing my liquid diet & all. I gave myself Friday & Saturday to cry about it & although I'm still upset I'm staying to get over it. My surgery has been rescheduled for January 19,15. With that being said I want to wish ALL of you the best of luck tomorrow! Please keep me posted on your progress!

I can't believe the day is so close either. Today was okay, but Tuesday was super hard for me. I was starving all day and had a huge migraine. I'm focusing in the surgery to get me through it. Please keep me posted on ur recovery. What foods have u been eating for the preop diet?

Thank you. I'm excited for us both! And I would do really bad things for Mexican too! I made chicken Soup w onion, pepper, carrots, garlic, pumpkin & plenty of cilantro. I then separated the broth from the chicken & veggies & saved it to purée for after surgery. I also made a turkey chili w kale, carrots, peppers, black Beans & tomatoes. Idk about the beans in the beginning. It's been fart city today' ???? Tomorrow I am making a butternut squash, tofu soup. Good luck on Tuesday & keep me posted on ur recovery!

I'm soooo excited for all of us! Anyone confused w all the chewable & liquid Vitamins we need to take after surgery? Sounds yuckkkky! I take a crap load of vitamins now but I don't mind them cuz I can just swallow them.
