    I had my surgery on August 4th too. My Dr. said I could start soft foods yesterday. Although I think I'm going to stick with Soups right now. Everything else still seems to hard to swallow. I am hoping to find support on this site to guide me through my journey. I have lost 20 pounds since I started the 2 week diet til now. Good luck on your journey. Merrie
