Ok so I posted this on the other board too, thought I would see what answer I get here. People keep saying to me that I won't be able to/I will have difficult climbing stairs (thus I need to stay with my mother for a few days instead of my house by myself) Did anybody have problems climbing stairs? There is a new medication that helps people stop smoking.. it is a 3 month therapy,... I have a friend who started it less then a week ago and she, within 24 hours, could not stand the taste of a cigarette. Good luck! -

Hi!!! My surgery is December 17th and I feel the exact same way as you.... excited... scares.. a bit intimated..... hoping I don't ruin Christmas.... ya know what we'll both DO AWESOME!!!!!! Keep me posted!

Once all of my info was received by the insurance company it took a whole 48 hours to get the surgery approved (my BMI is 53) I scheduled my surgery for 2 months later strictly because I am a teacher and didn't want to miss to many days with my lovely flowers. good luck!

My surgery is December 17.... coming up SOON! I start the liquid diet in 3 weeks.... Where is the Indiana thread at? I am so glad to have support.....

Anyone use this doctor in Elkhart IN? I have my surgery on 12/17 with him.... he seems wonderful but any experiences shared would be appreciated.
