i spent 2hrs cleaning my pantry / cabinets / freezer / fridge.... i am wasting $$$ on too much of stuff (food) that i need to get organized & shop like i have a band. has anyone seen that show on TLC "clean sweep" - where they have some guy come and organize your house....OMG i need him. i am the MOST unorganized person on earth; drives DH insane - i don't put something away in the same place twice.....love doing laundry, hate putting it away. get all ideas to cook for a day - then hate unloading the diswasher..... ok - complained enuff.....back to posting. ps - i have NO idea of the shows ya'll talk about, i just know biggest loser starts back up on tuesday & i can't wait.

ok, i printed this out yesterday mac & went shopping today. gg - i found the pillsbury brand (low sugar) in my grocery store ... plan on making a few batches tomorrow. thanks,

my surgeons PA turned me onto ostrich jerky sticks: OSTRIM meat stick, low carb snacks, healthy snacks for kid, sports nutrition supplement, high protein snacks, high protein food, low carbohydrate diet i can also get them at my 24hr fitness - great snack! i keep them in the house & gym bag all the time.

no "real" challenge. just personal fitness/exercise goals you set & we post daily/wkly/etc on what we did - accountability. today- took dh training session - he just ran on the treadmill... 2mile bike warm up 50min trainer session - all body weight training

1- like to have my farm house completed in it's remodel 2- get my house organized - trying to de-clutter; go minimalist if possible..ha 3- continue on with fitness goals 4- start school next wk (2nd career - LOL) - only 2 courses & would like to take a full schedule in the fall 5- be fiscally responsible, and learn more about our finances. i leave all that to DH and i have no idea about investments/bills/etc....bout time i learn 6- enjoy my friends & family more 7- i turn 40 this yr, and am excited - not scared to age knowing i'm much more healthy now... -

wow - this thread gets bigger / bigger each day....that's fantastic!! so i weighed after a wk; down to 127.1 - so my loss for the wk was 2.7lbs. would have liked more - but i'll not complain. think i might keep doing a Protein Drink a day for a while; my talapia didn't go down so well last night - actually not at all, so i made a shake....tasted good and was what i was in the mood for. good luck to all those starting!! -

was banded with my husband - we told nobody. after month 6, when i finally started to lose weight did i tell my parents - brothers. to date, that's all that knows ... other than here on LBT. hubby is pretty private, so we have kept it to ourselves and almost 15 months out i don't regret it. we were able to do the journey together w/out the watchful eyes or food police. it' made it very manageable because i was a slow loser.....hubby not so much; he lost much faster. i'd be inclined to tell a stranger about the journey rather than friends/family....not concerned about their opinion - i also didn't need it. -

that's great! i think the detox was a great idea. my meal consumption has scaled back considerably. still not weighing yet...:biggrin:

hey georgia girl - love the new avtr, happy nyr! today - DH wanted to sleep in & i was up early - go figure. 40min horse back riding & about 30min walk with the dogs. pretty day in dallas!!!

they are soybeans in a pod. i buy the frozen bags & either steam or roast the pods - then add sea salt. the pod softens and slightly comes apart - you eat the soybean inside. great snack & is a good source of Protein. -
well then i blew it..:tongue: actually my dr is OK with moderate drinking; pay attention to the calories & don't drink on an empty stomach was all he recommended. the chip 3wks out...i might wait on those for a bit further down the road.

is your hubby in one of the pictures? that's a bit odd if you ask me; but if it helps her sleep at night?????:cursing::confused: i love my magic bullet - have it charging right now; not the toy version:sneaky: sms - your pic is finally showing; you look great snt - my fills normally loosened after a few days, how long do you stay on liquids after one? beth - glad your enjoying your family ceradad - dh would love to rescue a retired k9 GS; i think we're fine on the dog count myself small nsv for me - i don't have many as of late, but DH said yesterday that i had saggy butt on the treadmill; need to upgrade my workout gear, which i'm fine with. also i need to get a new pair of running shoes. this is the second time since banding that my feet have shrunk. the current ones are slipping up by the ankles .... so i get a small shopping trip in today!!!

day 4....CRAVING fruits * veggies - had some yesterday. i was never a big "protein" only person, and did well to get in 50grams per day during this whole process - but i think i got those lbs that crept on licked. or so i think:wink: -

i'm in as well - had my thread pulled; tquads was much more upbeat:tongue2: today - all cardio: elliptical/bike/treadmill, while DH is training. i've taken a wk off of weight training and will pick back up on tsday. happy '09

happy new yr~ sorry kat your not feeling so hot, i think i've just shaken the crud and passed it to DH. he started feeling crappy last night, but it didn't stop him from shooting fireworks as well. it was a dueling of fireworks for about 40mins between our place and the ranch next to us. they have a bunch of teenage boys and they were having a GOOD time....our dogs can't stand the noise as well, which is sad because 2 are bird hunting dogs...LOL all the best for a great '09!!!!

morning & happy nyr!!!! on day 3 and i know i've lost some weight. the jeans i had on last wk that were a tad snug were loose last night.....still holding out till saturday to weigh. pouch test isn't too hard, but i did have some veggies at lunch yesterday - body craved it so i had a few bites, i'm mean really how bad can that be. i also had some wine to celebrate the nyr and was in bed relatively early. this if nothing told me i really don't need a fill; and i'm glad i've been able to reign in the snacking. congrats all in doing this!!!! -
happy nyr a lot!!! i did 2 days of liquids because i put on a few & now i'm doing the pouch test. i went a bit overboard on food & drink and needed to get back on track, plus i thought i needed a fill - i don't. it's helped. yesterday - b - skinny latte l- 2oz filet w/grilled veggies s- few bites of brie d - cup of black eye peas & some wine
