not me if i can help it - i always had a computer bag/briefcase or a gym bag. a good wallet and cell phone was easy to dig out and take along or CC or DR card & liscense. guess the reason for me being a bit messy when it comes to money organization. anyway - PRETTY day in dallas. hubby is so romantic getting me new golf clubs for our anniversary - had to hit a bucket or 2 today......have a good wkend all. SNT - i'll hit ya up on FB, have a safe trip.

Care to share your weight training workouts?

a lot of gyms offer "free assessment" training sessions, i would take them up on that freebie & ask this question. me i do weight training 2-3 times a wk w/my trainer and i really don't use the machines. mostly free weights & resistance bands / balls. every now and then we do the leg press & hamstring machine - but again; i do a lot of squats & lunges w/free weight dumbells. -
yesterday - nothing today - 45min session w/trainer; all upper body & ab workout, 20min physical therapy on ankle. after lunch dh and i hit the driving range - few buckets of balls hit.

yesterday - b- ostrich jerky stick / slice of muenster l - small mexican shrimp cocktail - extra avocado ; margarita d- half ww english muffin w/butter & honey s- bowl of grapes

1 Month = 9lbs 3 Months = can't remember 6 Months = 30lbs 12 Months = 75lbs 18 Months = 70lbs & maintaining that number 24 Months = hopefully the same as 18months -
i KNOW i was much better @ 10 - now, not so much....i like the art of surprise putting my hand in a pocket of already washed jeans and pulling out a $20....i'm easily entertained.

*hi FANNY!! you look GREAT!, i think plain & mac are best at recapping - congrats on the house! *money organization - i would likely drive you OCD money managers insane. i shove cash in whatever pocket; purse; gym bag; console.....very rarely is it in the wallet. i have to get a new ATM card every other month for the same reason. *glouc - i think it's wonderful you going to the gym w/DD. does she not like to go, but enjoys it once there? takes a bit to get use to then it becomes habit. also - there is nothing more annoying have to have your home perfectly clean & organized while people tredge through while selling. *friday - SUNNY for a change, watching my dogs chase squirrels through office window - too funny.

i think my fill is really working - not as hungry as i had been. yesterday - b - half ww english muffin w/butter s- half of a vanilla bean protein shake l- shrimp & veggie stir fry (about 1c) lots of veggies d- 1 cabbage cup (mixture of ground turkey/shredded cabbage-carrots/green onions/hoisson sauce)

i don't agree w/gadget's view on politics/abortion/gum chewing you name it - but she's compassionate for her cause. it's those who feel differently who should be just as diligent.....which i am. -
i have about one beer a month - more like a michelada. can't slug it; takes a bit of time, but i get the craving satisfied for another month.

i read here a long time ago, where someone compared a PB to an orgasm....you KNOW when it happens. :smile2: anyway - i've only pb'd twice ... it's not really a burp, because what you tried to eat that's stuck comes right back up and fast, no air involved. hiccups and my nose running are my indicators to slow down or that i'm done. odd - but it's just what i have learned over time.

today - went to my trainers sports rehab place. had 20mins massage therapy on ankle, 40mins ab & upper body weight/resistance bands. no cardio for 3wks.

* kat, i love your stories! glad your enjoying the job!! * ebony, have fun w/DD - exciting time for her.... * CC, the couch 5k is a wonderful program - really jump starts the workout process. congrats on the 12's & hopefully they don't have a long shelf life. * measurements, really important to take. like kat, i noticed inches falling when the scale stalled.....i don't think they work in unison. * ankle, doing better - have a splint/sock on it now and plan to see my trainer here shortly. got him being creative so not to put the pressue on.... ......happy thursday!!

i like to make mine, to get a bit more protein in - but store brands are fine, i just drizzle a little olive oil over a scoop w/some sea salt & cracked peper. i use it as a dip for veggies, spread for wraps, mix it in my tuna salad. lots of ideas. yesterday - b - tuna salad on wasa cracker l - 3oz jalapeno garlic talapia, steamed spinach (more garlic) d - chocolate / peanut butter protein shake s - pineapple spear grilled

plain - cooper clinic @ craig ranch (mckinney, tx). i'm also having a bone density test as well (next fri), was quoted $238 for both. body fat test is $110 - thought it would be more.

nutty/earthy bean (soy). i like to roast them for a bit w/some sea salt.....good source of protein.

so i went to play first thing this AM & tivo had a hiccup - cause there was no show. sounds like an OK show to have missed. anything not mentioned? how did the rest of the contestants who came back look? and who did the WLS bashing - the dr?

absolutely - we'll tell you exactly what you want to hear...LOL:) ok - i'm going to do the tank test for body fat next wk. has anyone else done this ? it's personal issue of mine and my dr said it was the only true test.....and to shut me up i think on monday about me complaining about a small weight gain, he says i'm dropping body fat - but i want the G2 on it all and see what the tank shows vs what the scales at the dr's or the pincher thing at the gym says. ok off rant.

you are such a rock star kagoscuba! i'm in - trudge through w/limited cardio at the moment. lots of weight & resistence w/trainer 3 days a wk. add Water aerobics here shortly. ceradad - no surgery for foot; just tlc.:thumbdown:

i always have hummus made up, found a recp this wk to make an edamae hummus, and that's also another snack i always keep around - a bag of frozen edamame. is fully spring in TX so fruits & veggies are coming into season. i'm trying to load up on them.
