i'm sorry beth! dh and i are going on vacation on thursday and i have no idea where we're going. he said i just needed 4 evening outfits the rest is shorts/tees/bathing suits. i kinda like the adventure. ps - michelle hope your feeling better soon.

that's a shame. my parents have been retired for a while now - and i never know where they are next. while growing up they did quite a bit of travel - overseas, but hadn't really touched much of the US. while they have a sm. ranch in FL, my dad bought a winnebago comfortable for my mom to "rough it" & they get to have their 2 sm dogs on board. i love getting an email from mom that' they are up in maine or in colorado and will be stopping thru on their way home. hubby wants to do the same thing, but i have creature of comforts issues....ie - my BED:) dh and i have a go to cash philosophy. meaning since i've stopped working, i've not used a credit card...thankfully i've learned a bit more of the meaning of the buck & frugality. i'm ready for the bull mkt again..

yesterday - b- half banana, slice of muenster cheese on half wasa cracker l- 3oz grilled talapia w/pico - margarita(s) d- approx 1c chicken pot pie (home made) s - 1oz bag of smartfood popcorn cluster (LOVE this - 110 calories)

ha - that made me laugh; my mom said that to my oldest brother .... he has 5. she told me she hopes i have 10 just LIKE me ... i have none. being an aunt is great - i can always send them home!

i always found that the "ex" was really only good for sex. the flaky'ness alone would make me run from all financial obligations/ties to him. while i read you love him - that's not all it takes to make a relationship work & run smoothly. if my husband took off and ran at the slightest hiccup - his bags would be forwarded & locks changed. you don't get to stay just in good times, thankfully he's a keeper. good luck to you - and your new band.

agreed, plus chicken unless in some type of sauce/soup can take a while getting down if not careful. yesterday - b- greek yougurt w/honey & granola s- handful of almonds/walnuts (raw) l- spicy crab salad on wasa cracker d- 2oz parmesan crusted talapia w/a spoonful of tomato/basil couscous & caprese salad

it does work - i think it depends on your activity. my surgeon prefers the 3 meals per day for those who live sedentary lives - who do little to no exercise. that just doesn't cut it for active folks in my opinion.....for example this AM i had greek yogurt w/granola, then took a spin class/speed walked 20mins on the treadmill & burned over 750 calories. i could chew someones arm off while leaving if i don't pack some raw nuts/ostrich jerky/fruit .. before i can get home to eat a proper lunch. on days i don't do any exercise - i eat much less; but on avg i have 3 meals & 1 or 2 Snacks.

there have been several here who have had their panni removed due to rashes/skin tears etc.....covered by insurance, and if they wanted the full tummy tuck - they would pay the difference. it interferred w/exercise to kick the final remaining pounds. i think there are several variables to having skin issues that would require PS: how long you were overweight child birth genes exercise good skin i'll be 40 next month & as a pear shape the only issue i have is my thighs. but i always had issues with them (was only obese 3yrs). i plan on getting lipo in the fall on the outter sides & butt - waiting till summer & the heat is over to wear the needed compression garments. i have had no kids so from the hips up - all is good!

so ironic you posted this today. DH has a late night snack thing & after losing his weight he thought he could go back to the chips/sweet stuff.....we'll he's packed on 20lbs (he's also banded). i just stocked the house back up w/the raw nuts (almonds/walnuts) fruits/veggies/.....all the stuff we had in the house in the beginning. btw - he sneaks in the chips cause that is my downfall , cake means nothing to me. good post! -

i use to say that the only way i would run, was if someone was chasing - that's back in my vocabulary. i NEVER got the rush others have written about (sorry tmi ceradad)....my double d's no matter how strapped down w/my enell bra always were tender, never got my breathing right, and my toe nails constantly cracked - so it's off the cadio menu.:confused: today - surprise - spin class, 20 min walk on treadmill

LOVED it. * friend - took her spinning yesterday, then lunch & glass of wine. she got it, time to step up and be her husbands rock. dh and i can't live there or do it for her.. * got an unfill yesterday AM and ate like a pig - i just LOVE food. :confused: reason for the damn band! * g4e - sorry about your back, maybe it's a pinched nerve? regarding your mtg, have you talked to the bank? see if you can work something out? i hate hearing that your going through this; fingers crossed!
