    American Idol '08

yes she was. good point about being able to mold david a - they can do that more so w/him rather than david c. david c might do best "not" to win - like daughtry, ps - i did see daughtry live when he opened up for bon jovi (still a hair band groupie from the 80's - lol) - he was great, however i think his voice isn't going to hold up long term. he and david c have a lot of similarities... be interesting next wk..., did the show "rockstar" die? i loved that, again big INXS & Crue Fan - be nice to see that show this summer to get my fix in.

Why are people afraid of atheism?

not to hijack - i was just commenting that this post here correlates w/the "who supports the right to choose" thread in which there's been much drama & i inferred you were talking about. NOT to bring that topic here whatsoever!!!

madonna does a decent version of it as well~ i think last night was boring - none were great, but david c is still my favorite by far. i really hope next season they "drop" the "theme" night.

Couch to 5K Anyone want to start with me ?

good for you kim.. if you look back through this thread - i whined a BUNCH, so have at it...btw - i repeated A LOT of wks in this program. when the body didn't like what it was doing; i modified my workout or just plain took a break. stranger - it is HOT, actually really humid up this way. went for a run this AM outside (which i normally don't do - but had to be home all day for some deliveries) and came home SOAKED. didn't do a full 3m - roughly 2.5m; i still struggle with getting bored while running. i'm amazed i can keep moving but my ADD gets me off track & distracted:)

Why are people afraid of atheism?

Just got caught up on this thread ... As a Christian (Catholic) - there is nothing an Athiest can say to get me upset or feel attacked. The don't believe - so be it, personal choice - as is mine to feel confident in my religion & what it provides for me. You get to choose what offends your or not - there is "turn the other cheek". I've enjoyed reading the Athiest view, helps me understand my friend a bit better - in no way will I be a convert; the debate can continue w/out taking things too personal *** and this is directed to no one person in particular ***

this made me giggle .. my husband (banded w/me) just had the same issue; it was time to get new ones when i was able to see them coming out his shorts while running:eek: wombat- i'm unhappy w/the scale myself lately; the last 3 wks i'm up / down the same 2lbs - just can't cross over the 140 mark in the other direction!! today - 2mile bike warm up 50min trainer session (full body wkout) 20min stair master **trying to change cardio up w/the stairmaster - maybe this will bust through the scale issue**

    Noticeable difference

cerrin - that is a fantastic accomplishment. all that hardwork paid off!! congrats.
  22. I was told I "might" need plastic surgery to get to my goal weight of 125; my Dr's goal was 140. Coming up on that number, I know I will not require any surgery due to weightloss. I wont' rule out any work that comes with the normal aging process:tongue:
  23. yesterday - b- 4oz 2% cottage cheese l- 1c field green salad w/ 1/4c chicken salad / tsp basalmic s- slice of cheddar cheese d- 1c tai chicken/sprout stir fry

    Fat people in movies

yikes - i'm still not a fan of the thong & probably never will be; but have gotten the "girl's" re-fitted. my bras just started to go vacant (if possible being double D) going from 34DD to a 32D. i've read all about ya many "apples" out there - but i am one big "pear". small arms/ small waist-tummy...thighs & hips are NOT my friend. one comment about shallow hal - i stopped from commenting about it, because i did not see the movie completely through. it was not funny. i have no problem w/humor off colored (race/gender/size)...just be well written; this movie didn't provide any entertainment whatsoever in either category & i'm not overly sensitive to being overweight....it was just a poorly written script - acted out obnoxiously.
  25. what i find interesting is the consistent "viewers of this thread" to be: speigel , spiegel (different spelling). i can only assume "staff" - and if so, your a member, provide some insight - counter this OP's claims. i'm someone highly suspect of inappropriate behaviour of Dr's and if mine had a surname attached to a forum such as this - i would be looking elsewhere for postop care. if this is of a legal matter; then lets just drop this thread - till the OP can discuss completely. no offense - but if you can't at this time discuss; then it's best to "rest" and readdress.
