i think it's a great idea for a unique group - banded couples. my husband and i were banded together & it has been nothing but a positivie experience....from change in diet to consistent exercise; we really rely on one another & it's paying off. he does not come on this site, but i'm sure each evening i discuss "something" from LBT when he's in town, and he enjoys the information.

Has anyone reached thier goal weight and then

i had 2 unfills the first of may - because i too wanted to eat. by no means a complete unfill, i went from 8.5cc to 6.9. since i work out pretty hard, i was struggling getting calories in & yesterday i had .5cc put back in because i felt i was "eating too much". my dr laughed, i lost 9lbs during that month & 1/2 with a slight unfil. i would try going with a marginal unfil first - you'll be amazed at how little it takes to be able to eat a bit more, and if your active the extra calories should balance out. -
how adorable!, hope it all goes well! hi ladybug - i do keep track of my calories & try to stay around 1100....but just got a fill yesterday, so i might have to work back up to that number. yesterday ~ b- EAS carb control choc shake l- light delight smoothie d- 1/3c cream potato Soup

YES - and I LOVE it! it is FANTASTIC!, again it might be pricey -but my hair has really never looked better since using the croc & with being pretty active, as i know you are jachut - it's my new Fav thing:thumbup:

well i'm a woman who will never forget diamonds - EVER....but know a good hair styling product/iron when i find one....i'm a fan of the croc flat iron made by misikko: Croc Flat Iron, Hair Straightener & Blow Dryer at Misikko - FREE 2 DAY SHIPPING i have thick hair that has a "wave" ... nothing over the top - but what i like about the croc is that i can flat iron my hair WET. i literally throw product in - run about then take 5min to flat iron. i'm left w/constant shine....it's a little pricey - but for low maintanence individuals it's a gem.

go to the wedding.....then find a surgeon that didn't make you wait a yr - that's just insane. or would be the yr wait be your call? if "that" were the case - get your lapband. there is "always a wedding" around the corner - your health should trump that.
-
hi peg - well i would have preferred ins to have paid for us both - but since that wasn't the case , we had to pay 30k out of our savings for the surgeries - but WELL worth the price for health & a new lease on life. advise- get your pain meds filled in advanced & have the checklist for post op planned in advance & in place. i had to the morning after, go drive to get our pain meds - not pretty.....hubby was SO adament NO ONE know what we did he hired his limo service that he uses for business travel take us there and back....my surgeon to this day says we're his only patients to take a limo for lapband..LOL:tongue: pain meds / ice pops / good pillows / and some movies or Tivo lined up for a few days should do you both good.....please let me know how it all works out for you... lulu

i was banded the same day as my husband - so he knew:tongue:. but i did not tell my parents & brothers till after 4months post op. they all thought that it was great i took hold of my weight and health - in fact my oldest brother got banded because of it. but that's as far as who knows to this day, my husbands family & our friends - just know we took control of our diet & are exercising like crazy....which is the truth. i have no doubt my friends would have no issue with WLS - however my husband is EXTREMELY private, and it's his wish to keep this 'private'....so i come here more often to chat, where i can't within other areas of my life. i like the fact i / we didn't have "watchful" eyes during our process & next wk my parents get to see me for the first time since surgery - so i'm excited.

the "buy in" for tickets is JUST outrageous, i think we're going to go in with 2 other couples and share. we do that with dallas stars tix and it works out great.... btw - ALL the BEST on the TRI, can't wait to hear about it!! today - 2mile bike warm up 50min trainer session - all resistance/core; no weights

georgia girl / bloo & regular posters w/kids - WOW, i bow to you! cause i've had my 6 nieces/nephew for a wk now and to go from cooking for 2 banded persons to 8 with tastes off the MAP!!!!! i've seen my husband PB a bunch and just look at him, like he's crazy. i had baby back ribs in our smoker for 6hrs today and i take one bite and was met with a fast dash to the sink & i'm scheduled for a fill in the AM. so today~ b- 1/2c fiber one squares w/ 2%milk and blueberries l- 1c field green salad w/lump crab meat d- 1 bite of ribs - will grab a EAS choc shake ltr.
