um nope - not lost w/me because i stated MY intention to have PS, would be when i was at goal, should that be needed. it's not. as stated - i have ZERO vested interest in who does it; to say that you have to be at goal to do so - well; there are others in the PS forum that have not followed suit. challenged those there - not me saying some may not have to have it done.

ex techie sales person - happily to have left that world, but i do connect w/my colleagues through linkedIn. never heard of twitter, but then i've been gone from the real world for 2+yrs....

chickie, with all due respect.. all i'm saying is that some "can" tell early on they'll need PS to deal w/skin issues. personally, don't care when someone does it; if you read the PS threads MANY get into "tuck mode" well before goal. should i have needed PS, i would have been in consultation mode now & worked out those last lbs, as you say - i agree really make a difference. the OP wondered if those who have to lose 90-100lbs "would" need to deal with skin issues - ie PS. i thought i gave a good answer - which was a flip of the coin. PS - like the new avtr.

i think many can determine before goal weight that they'll have skin issues that will need corrected. in fact, i've read many having PS before reaching their goal weight.

lyn - your a riot!, your posts make me giggle. love the lite idea, i'm in. well since my scale has been removed from the home, because i was weighing on the hr - hubby decided that i can weigh the morning of my first 5k and not before. i maybe be done pound wise, since it's been just about 2months since it's moved - but i wouldn't mind another 5-10 gone, since i'm on the higher end of normal bmi being a shorty (5'1). so that said, my exercise goal is to NEVER give it up & i'm sure i can do it this time. i was wide awake at 4:45am ready to go for a run. has exercise made any of ya sleep less? i no longer need the 8-10hrs of rest - i'm done at 5 easiliy. and i LOVED to nap in the past. personal goal - the big 40 is around the corner, and hubby said he'd send me and my gfriends to a spa or something to whoop it up.

i don't think there is anyway to tell till your start losing a good chunk of what you need to . age/skin/genes/how long were you overweight - lots of variables. i have lost 75lbs and don't have any loose skin issues.

today~ yoga class 20min run

frank felts i also agree w/suzanneg, i don't think i could handle a biscut - the only bread i can do is peperidge farm thin slice whole wheat, and it needs to be toasted.

i think dealing w/insurance is worse than head hunger.
-
i think head hunger is one thing - true hunger another. if your meals are not keeping you full; you may want to re-evaluate them.....if it's your head - set rules for yourself. allow for snacks - but make them healthy. set a time you no longer eat after - for me i try not to eat past 7pm. btw - fried okra sounds so good right now..; good luck

i keep reading this post , so i might as well chime in. i can wait to slide into 40...few months away:biggrin:. i was 110-120lbs in my 20's and was the most insecure person sexually. i had no self confidence to try or do "new things:wink_smile:". i married at 30, to an amazing man who today tells me i need to put a few lbs back on my hips & butt, he could have cared less how much i weighed...and with that security, i became much MORE carefree & risky. your partner "matters" in this exploration. my personal experience and those of my friends i have a certain philosophy on this subject - in your 20's your defining who you may want to be when you "grow up" - in your 30's, i think this is the most critical time for a woman. the struggle of family/work/life/ - many lose themselves by being the caretaker to everyone but themselves ( realize this may be earlier for some )...as i creep to 40, which all my close friends are - i realized this is MY time. i could give a rats ass what someone says or thinks of me. i was all about appearances earlier on - not today. i am what i am...and you can take it or leave it. i feel i look as good now as i did at 25 & WISHED i had the carefree attitude then, that i do now. sex - MUCH better as i age; the hangups i had early on is a shame - or maybe not...i like to think the best is yet to come (no pun intended:tongue:)

the rain lately has been tremendous!...i keep wishing for snow though:smile: but thats the NY gal in me;:smile2::wink2:

dionna - i know your just south of me, but i think i got ya. my july bill was $873, and we were gone for a wk of that month. we're in rennovation mode of our farm house - replaced 3 AC units, along with other "green" upgrades,...it's just INSANE. on top of that we have a propane tank that takes about $200 a month to keep filled, have to buy diesel for the tractors - and the pool....well it takes alot of running time, like you said to keep the algae from making it pea soup. hard to not run the AC in TX from april to oct:rolleyes:
-
SO true - my head is my biggest issue; not my body...go figure. i can talk myself INTO something as fast as i can talk myself OUT of something....head games. congrats on your run renewed!! whosya - your such a silly guy; if someone knows how to post pics cutting others out - i think i now have the guts to show more pics - even those before:eek::smile2::eek:
-
oh ceradad - that makes much more sense. i had an appt as well w/my PA this am, and well i need to eat more...so i had .2ccs taken out. i ate more yesterday than i had in a while, and todays workout went well w/out me feeling like a SLUG. today - 1 1/2hr trainer sesssion: 40 min run/walk (5min run/1min walk - so on) plus ladder drills & sprints afterwards back/shoulder weight training - apparently i have bad posture; so "we're fixing that"....:smile2: ab routine PS - ceradad - great year, really!!! & for me ...i dig the NSV's just as much as scale victories...congrats!
