that goes against everything i've been taught in my personal training. i get pushed (because i will not do so on my own) - but not to the point that i need to hurl.....do i crash on the basketball court after doing windsprints & ladder drills - yes. there is nothing healthy or positive about training to that point. i was bit disappointed.

i really have no idea???, i'm as interested as you if this is possible; how can you determine it & what is the remedy. i really can't overeat; my body tells me - NO more & have had only one PB episode in a yrs time. missy - any specifics would be great. much thanks,

i really don't want to mess w/my port if i don't have to. but it started out right next to my belly button..now it's an inch under my sports bra & can be annoying at times. it's totally visable. glouc congrats on the plateau break!!!! today - day off (wed); not even walking a dog; it's raining and i have zero plans to do single activity other than raise my fork at meal time...LOL:w00t:

my trainer will put that body bugg contraption on me once a month - just to measure my calories burned during a weight training session; on avg i burn 700+ calories. with me taking in 1100 calories on a daily basis roughly - the only thing i add is a protein drink here / there, i don't add an additonal 700 calories to my daily intake. my activity determines my meals/calories - some days higher - some days less.

i get a monthly shot by my OB, she also offers a patch - but i just rather a shot & get it over with, than to have to fuss with pills/sprays/or patch.

ok don't laugh or think i need marriage counseling - but we are doing that in our remodel....LOL it is just hubby and i - we spend A LOT of one/one time together, but he's a night owl & i'm an early bird. he snores, i drool - ha ha ha..... we gutted the master bedroom & bath and made 2 suites that join in the middle with a sitting area & master bath / walk in closet - changing area. i like big fluffy pillow & allow my dogs on the bed.....he likes to sleep in a cold cave pitch dark. i love my sleep, and after 11yrs together we decided that we don't do well all night together. one inevitably gets pissed at the other...so he gets his cave, i get sleep w/out snoring..

i know - DFW is around the same & it's just starting to rain. not sure i even have gloves unless for skiing... Posting - ever have days where DH is on your last damn nerve.....gosh i just want to pinch him. i just packed his suitcase for him; has a bus trip and he's like, your really ready to get rid of me....ummmm YES!

that is TOO funny, i'm the exact same way. my fed exp guy who i hadn't seen in a yr (hubby works out of the house & we get lots of deliveries) asked me yesterday what have i done. i just blurted out that i got the lapband last yr. he's was very sweet. i have not , nor will tell my MIL about getting the band, nor will my husband tell his mom either he too is banded. her idea of support, is that what's shown to her, and her only. i'm sure she wouldn't be against WLS, however if a conversation should take place where she is not the focus, well an ER trip is on the horizon, as a "heart attack is taking place"...

oh just get over yourself already. i said "the dogma" not yours specifically - but if your feeling slighted, well sorry! you of all people should not accuse me of attacking, when i have been more than gracious in opposing view points of yours to bring it "back" to topic and hash debates out rationally. go re-read my post: aren't you the least bit distressed that many with opposing views of yours are leaving these threads by the dozens - so not deal w/the dogma spewed hourly which degrades them? i'm MORE than happy you that you will leave the issue from this topic - maybe others will join back in.

gadget - every political thread is now monopolized by the abortion issue. take it to that thread... PLEASE. at this stage of the election process - pretty foolish to think those of us interested in current events, don't know where the candidates stand on the issue. your for or against the right to legal abortions - period. aren't you the least bit distressed that many with opposing views of yours are leaving these threads by the dozens - so not deal w/the dogma spewed hourly which degrades them? if your interested in talking w/those w/your shared values - might i suggest you ask the moderators / alex to create a forum just for your cause. it's gotten quite annoying, as much as i have enjoyed prior debates.

blooeyes, is the queen of taking atkin drinks & whipping up some fantastic protein drink....i'm hooked on choc cheesecake one myself now. i have hips don't lie in my head now....LOL i'm IM'ing w/my friend in FW & her gym has zumba on sat/sun mornings - i'm going to strut my big ol' hips in & give it whirl this wkend. LOVE to dance - hubby agreed to take mambo/ball room this winter w/me and i'm holding him to it...he rather country dance & i can only be spun around 100 times before i'm done.:biggrin:

out on the food thread there is a 200 protein drink recipe list; might also be beneficial having some protein while healing??? not running for a wk or so; have a broken varicose vein which is ugly & painful - so just walking & weight training... zumba sounds fun - i got shakira hips..., well in my head only:tongue:

i have "first" bite issues most times & i also appear tight in social settings. 9/10 a stuck episode is me not paying attention to what i'm eating or how much. -

gotta tell ya - though i love yoga; that would be the LAST position i would choose when stuck. i feel i have to tilt my head up and stand up & walk.....i've left hubby at the bar for dinner many times to walk outside to work the stuck episode.:biggrin: -
