  1. I am 5 weeks out from vsg to mini gastric bypass and I am only losing 1-2lb a week. It's soul destroying! I would like to lose 84lb in total, so far I've lost 11.5lb in 5 weeks post op. I feel I can eat a lot too which worries me.
  2. Hi 7 years ago I had a sleeve gastrectomy, I had a great result and kept the weight off till this year where I have rapidly regained around half of my loss of 100lbs. I am considering a revision to MGB. I was wondering how it 'FEELS' - do you feel full in the same way as you did with your sleeve? How was recovery compared to your sleeve? Theres a lot of info I can find on results and toleration of foods but I'm curious to know if it 'feels' any different to you? Thanks in advance! Suzanne x
  3. Thanks so much for posting, I've been hearing people say that they didn't feel much restriction after having bypass and that weight loss was much slower than their original vsg surgery. Appreciate your feedback, Im very keen to revise from vsg to bypass due to weight gain after 8 years.
  4. Thanks Kitty, that has put my mind at rest a little more. How have you got on since surgery? One thing I am a little freaked about is staying hydrated, I drink a lot of water especially in summer here, and I worry I will not be able to get through enough water after surgery! Xx
  5. Hi, I have my surgery booked in for the 8th November 2014 with Mr Koak at Holly House Hospital in Essex, has anyone else had their suregery there with him? I would love to hear from you, or from anyone that has their surgery around the same date! I live in Spain but am coming to the UK for surgery and staying with my parents in Essex while I recover. Feeling mixed emotions at the moment, had my dietician consult last night via Skype and I think I underestimated how much is going to change, I am feeling very anxious about head hunger and my love of chocolate and sugar sabotaging me after surgery! Suzanne x
  6. I'm down south as well. I went privately (wasn't willing to wait for the nhs process) and my surgeon was Mr Agrawal. He was really amazing. I just had a dress delivered from asos and thrilled that the size 22 fit perfect! (Down from 26) . Hi, I am looking into surgery at the moment at the holly house hospital in Essex with Mr Agrawal, I would love to hear of your experience, you are the first person I have found who has been operated on by him. I am coming from Spain to have the op, and recovering at my parents in Essex, did you have the sleeve? X
