I just had my surgery 28/07/14, two days before you.
Like you, I too have problems drinking Water. Today I had a laps in concerntrasion when I was drinking water. Instead of taking slow sips I took 2 big gulps. That really hurt and it gave me nausea and felt sick. It lasted for 10 minutes. Thank goodness and it has not comeback.
If I'm not careful with the way I drinks liquids this problem will occur again. Drinking cold fluids does not help.
Tomorrow I have my follow up appointment at the doctors I will mention this situation.
