HELP! I am desperately needing support!

I know this is hard!!!!! Try and remember everything that you have been through and maybe put notes up to remind yourself to stay focused! I put a picture up of myself in the kitchen and I can't stand it! It helps, sometimes. Then I chew gum while looking at my picture....uuuugggghhhhhh!!!!!!The other times I will try and think of new ways to make the very unhealthy good tasting food I crave in a healthier version.
  2. Eating a lot of soups and salads. I made a tofu kimchi cabbage spicy soup. My salads are grilled chicken with veggies and low fat oil and vinegar. For breakfast it is usually coffee with protein powder sugar free and fat free flavored creamer. For a snack I have a protein bar.
  3. My surgeon told me to use Phillips milk of magnesia. I was taking it at night for two days and nothing was happening. Called the surgeon again and they told me to keep taking it every night. They said it was gentle enough to take nightly. On the fourth night it started working. I this helps. I know how uncomfortable constipation is!
  4. For me, my surgeon told me at my 2 week post op that it was alright to drink no more than 2 cups a day. I put Protein powder in mine with stevia and fat free, sugar free flavored creamer. I feel for me that with the added Protein Powder in my coffee it makes me full and it suppresses my appetite.

    Terrified of sleep study

I am so sorry for what has happened to you. When I went through my sleep study, I called around for a Doctor who let you take it at home. Dr. Newman is my Doctor in Brick, N.J. et me take mine when I was pregnant and for my gastric sleeve. I told him I had problems sleeping in a sleep center. He gave me a machine to take home that strapped aroung my chest and I taped what was like pulse ox on my finger. They programmed the machine to start at a certain time at night my bed time. It was programmed to shut off in the morning. I brought it back the next day. He read it and ordered my cpap. I always do mine at home.

    Drinking during meals

Thank you for the apology and your right it is difficult, but I wish you could of asked me without implying the other hurtful comments. Not everyone is crazy and irresponsible. Try not to judge everyone the same. If it doesn't seem right, then ask but try not to offend. Sorry if I was rude. I took what you said hard because I too like all of you have been thru a lot to get here too and needed this to save my life. I thank the Lord and would never jeapordize all of this work or suggest to anyone else to. I pray everything is well for you and God Bless!

    Drinking during meals

Thank you so much! It makes no sense why I would suggest to do this!!!!!!! Some people need to get a clue. I am trying to save my life! Why would I self through this if I didn't care! My mother died of cancer so did my brother my other brother was murdered. I did the gastric sleeve to live not die. There has been too much of that in my life!

    Drinking during meals

First of all, I have been a lot to get here too!!!!! I have high blood pressure, sleep apnea, diabetes, and asthma all due to my weight. If you read it correctly she asked if we knew why we shouldn't drink with our meals. That was my reason. I also like the restriction that is one of many reasons I chose this surgery. I have two baby daughters who are my best friends and have been so sick for a lot life. How dare you! I wouldn't cheat the sleeve. I thank GOD for ! So please keep your insulting hurtful accusations to yourself. Thank you!

    Drinking during meals

When you drink with your meals it allows more food to flow through and you will be able to consume more. You won't always get that bowling ball feeling your supposed to get and you will eat more

    January 15th, 2015 Anyone?

When I got home from the hospital I only did a little broth, boullion cubes, or green decaf tea. I couldn't do isopure because they tasted terrible to me. I could not consume a lot at all. I was also sick to my stomach and it sometimes hurt to eat.Sugar free popsicles was what I sucked on the most because after one or two bites of broth I was full or did not feel good. That was the first week. Second week was tomato soup with potein powder in it. Split pea soup organic with protein powder and pureed. Ate some tomato did sugar free popsicles tea and very little split pea. Third week coffee with sugar free fat free flavored creamer, stevia, and protein powder in it for breakfast. water and I made soup with tofu cabbage onions fat free low sodium beef broth mushrooms and Korean hot red paste to make it spicey. Basically doing a lot of soups. At night I drink chamomile tea to relax. I also used to be a sweet lover. It was my daughters 8th birthday and I took a bite of her birthday cake and was sick to my stomach. It was too sweet. Also lots of different smells make me sick. I get full very quickly and am learning to try and stop before the bowling ball hits my stomach. I've only lost 9 I don't understand.can you tell me what you're eating.

    January 15th, 2015 Anyone?

Hi everyone finally sleeved! Came home Friday night. For me it was more pain than I thought there was going to be. I had a low grade fever after my surgery and they was concerned about my blood pressure. I slept the whole surgery night with morphine and right after surgery my oxygen levels kept dropping and they gave me more oxygen to help. I have been walking, still in some pain. Hard to get comfortable. Hurts some when I swallow. Have been sick to my stomach. Glad the surgery is over. Having a hard time consuming things. How is everyone? I hope everyone is well! I said a prayer for everyone. Yay we are sleeved!!!
