  1. Once you start losing weight you will become more confident in showing your body, don't worry. I'm 26 and I've been self conscious bout my body for as long as I can remember, even in front of my husband. But once the weight started coming off I didn't mind my body been seen anymore. Especially if your bf likes what he's sees and you feel confident ans sexyyy, he will eat you up girl! I'll be honest tho it took me getting to a size 12/14 to be in nothing but panties. It just depends on you ya know?

As far as the excess skin, yes you're young and you have good elasticity BUT you need to work out to tone and tighten. Then you'll really feel like gettin. naked! Lol. I've lost 81lbs without exercising and I'm paying for it now that I've started working out, it makes me worry about my "squishy" skin and have to work twice as hard to tone. :( but it's my fault and I'm still workin on it.

Don't worry so much @@emery_perkins you have your whole life ahead of you and you will be great! The only regret I have is I didn't do it sooner.

  2. I had my surgery Oct 15th of this year and I've had 4 or 5 periods since, BUT I ran out of my birth control and then I switched to a lower hormone dose so that could be why. Vaginal secretions seem to be a little more than before. My mons pubis is MAYBE a little smaller but it's more noticeble to me because I don't have the big gut blocking my view anymore. And apparently anything under a size 16 is "low-rise" which seems to make mine more noticeble lol. And libido is back up, A LOT! I want it all the time now!! I think it's because I feel so good about myself now.

  3. Here's a question for all the post-op people: Did you have a catheter? I REALLY don't want one!

I didn't have a catheter or my mom either. They said with the procedure being so quick there's really no need for one. Just make sure you potty right before your surgery.

  4. I had my surgery 10/16. Still recovering. My incisions hurt, I still need the pain meds. Ugh pain go away.

My sleeve was done on Oct 15th and my incisions are still tender too. Just make sure you wash them with soap (I use the Dial antibacterial body wash already) everyday, dry them good and then doctor them how you were advised. For me I got antiseptic spray and I have to keep the little strips on til they fall off on their own. My drain site I'm supposed to keep covered til it stops oozing so I clean it and cover after my showers. Oh and no actual bath baths for 4 weeks! I know you weren't asking for anything but I just threw my 2 cents in. Hope you feel better soon! :)

  5. I haven't had my surgery yet @@Lin1738 but I've read a lot about the hair loss that comes with having the surgery. And like you my hair is that long, actually a little longer I'd say, and it's already thinnish around my temples. The loss is usually from months 3-6 from what I've read. It is an unfortunate side effect but I am mentally and emotionally prepared to cut my hair and/or wear a wig (since it will be getting cool anyways) if need be. I was pretty shocked when I found out but it's worth it to lose the weight and live a longer healthier life with a new body. ;)

  6. I'm not sure if my thighs will ever NOT touch lol! And I know what you mean @@JerryLynn my Mom and I are like that except I'm 26 and she's 54. ;) We're both getting it done and on the same day. But I've always dreamed of being thin and I can't even imagine myself any smaller than a 12! I'm also nervous about the hair loss more than anything, even flying! :( I have long thinning hair as it is and I've been growing it out and I'm afraid I'll have to cut it after a while.
