  1. Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've come up here. I was sleeved on August 4th 2014. My starting weight pre - op was 224lbs, as of this morning, I am not 172lbs. Honestly I've been messing up pretty bad. Although my portions have been pretty small about 3-4 oz per meal, I've basically been eating what ever I want. It's been pretty difficult to get in the swing of things; with school, a baby, wifely duties, etc. I've worked out a few times since I was physically able. I haven't seen my surgeon in over a month. (I have no idea why they haven't called me back to reschedule) anyways I'm just feeling like a failure.im not sure if I should be losing more. I know I need to choose healthier options and fit in am exercise routine. Anybody feel the way I've been feeling? Any any encouragement or tips would be appreciated. Thanks. Sorry for the long post.

    Wow. Thanks everyone. I agree, staying on this forum will help hold me accountable and keep me motivated. I guess I felt overwhelmed keeping it all in to myself. I'm grateful to God that I'm able to talk with people who are in the same boat. I'll definitely try that fitness app as well. I schedule everything else in my life. Why not schedule and keep better track of my eating. Thanks again guys. I didn't expect to get so much help so quick.

    Awwww man thanks Kathy!!! This helps so much. And you're right, I need to get a grip. I've fallen into the trap of doing what's convenient. And I'll definitely bug my Dr's office tomorrow. I didn't come this far to go back to where I was pre-op. Thanks again!!! :-)
  5. hey everyone,hope all is well. I'll make it quick. I had my sleeve done this past monday the 4th, and although i know i am required to stick to this post clear liquid diet, it has been quite hard so far. although this was my first full day home,and i shouldnt be too hard on myself, i cant help but think im not intaking enough protein..honestly i'm stuffed!!! ANY IDEAS?
  6. HEY EVERYONE, HOPE YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!! I'M ALMOST 4 WEEKS POST OP AND THIS PAST WEEK OR SO, I'VE BEEN FEELING A LITTLE "BLAH". I'VE LOST ABOUT 30 POUNDS SO FAR SINCE SURGERY, BUT I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME KEEP DRINKING THAT HORRID PROTEIN SHAKE. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET MOST OF MY PROTEIN FROM MY FOOD.IT'S BEEN REALLY HARD WAITING TO DRINK LIQUIDS AFTER I EAT. ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP..WHAT ARE YOU GUYS EATING AND WHAT'S HELPING YOU GUYS STAY FOCUSED AND NOT GET DOWN? THANKS. MUCH LOVE

    I HAVE THE FITBIT FLEX,I'VE TRIED IT A COUPLE MONTHS AGO BUT WASN'T COMMITTED. SO NOW THAT I'VE HAD THE SURGERY I CAN GET THIS THING GOING. I WALK ALOT, BUT I'M REALLY EXCITED TO START LIFTING AND/OR CARDIO. I HAVE A 10 1/2 MONTH OLD AND HE KEEPS ME PRETTY ACTIVE WHICH IS A GOOD THING I GUESS. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT I'LL LOOK LIKE AT MONTH 3. I'VE ALREADY BEEN WINDOW SHOPPING FOR DRESSES . LOL

SO THIS EVENING I HAD ABOUT 4 OZ OF SOME HOMEMADE chicken BROTH..WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOSO.LOL WHICH IN TURN MAAAAADDDEEEE ME EAT IT SO FRIGGIN FAST.LOL OKAY IT WASN'T ITS FAULT…GUILTY AS CHARGED. ANYWAY SHORTLY AFTER I FELT NAUSEOUS AND COMPLETELY UNCOMFORTABLE LIKE I NEEDED TO THROW UP.(TMI) BUT I HAD SOME DIARRHEA WHICH SEEMED TO BE THE broth (EEEWWW I KNOW) AND I HAD TO FORVE MYSELF TO GET THE BROTH OUT..ALL I TASTED WAS NASTY BILE…DISGUSTING…SOOOOOOO..LESSON LEARNED!!!!!! P.S SORRY FOR THE TMI…ANYONE ELSE GO THROUGH A SIMILAR SITUATION?
