I am definitely losing inches for sure haven't been measuring myself but I cal feel it. Last week the stall broke [emoji4][emoji4][emoji1373][emoji1373]I was stuck forever almost two months at 230 and last week was 227 and today I am 224. I upped my water and started eating all organic and vegan and exercising more and I feel soooooo incredible. Meat tends to taste gamey these days and make me sick. Thank you all so much for your support. I am having now one of my favs - smoothie I make almost everyday in my nutribullet..... banana, spinach, blueberries, almond/coconut milk blend unsweetened with some raw organic honey.

I had my bypass on October 24th 2016 and I have lost about 55lbs. I am really discouraged right now because I am at a stall for about six weeks and I am for the most part doing everything correct and even upped my water and exercise
-
Thanks you guys I really appreciate it. I upped my water and did 75oz today which is a record! just had dinner too. I made zucchini and yellow squash noodles, chopped onion and mushrooms cooked in coconut oil, seasoned with garlic salt and topped with avocado. So good! Then hitting up the gym later. Hope to see that scale move by Monday ! Let's think positive thoughts and put it out into the universe [emoji179][emoji1373]

This is me when I first began my weight loss at 330 on the left...and I am now at 227....so a little over 100lbs....I would love to be 180 or even 170.

I usually have my coffee and tea in the morning, (green tea) (coffee with equal and little half & half) with either eggs and cheese or a greek yogurt ....or I will have a Protein shake.....I have an apple for a snack.....and lunch is either a salad or lunch meat....I have had half a sandwich before but I don't eat the crust of the bread because it makes me so full.....For dinner I have veggies and chicken.....I also occasionally have a sugar free fudge stick....another shake.....and more green tea before bed.....I haven't really upped my exercise....I do walking...gym here and there....and taking belly dancing class every Friday at for one hour......I snack on string cheese, cashews, popcorn, banana, and I am taking my Vitamins......... What is your current weight? I think you made a mistake

Hi, we had our surgery on the same day do not worry about the stalls, they're totally normal. Weight gain sometimes as well, during menstrual cycle is normal too. Even if you are eating, you are only getting 1/2 of that in because the rest is being bypassed (where they got the name from). So it's double penetration toward weight loss since not only are we eating small amounts, our bodies aren't even absorbing all of what we put in...which is why it's so important too to take our Vitamins everyday. Let's keep in touch! You are doing great.

I have it here and there and I love it and have no problem and still losing weight at a good pace....Popcorn comforts me too because I don't get full too fast. I can actually enjoy myself by eating small hand fulls for a 10-15 minute period.

What is the one food you cannot eat since bypass?
DelRey310 replied to melliecat's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
My doctor told me it will get easier with time Hard boiled eggs get me sick too sometimes...and you have to chew them really good as well ...I find over easy eggs better to digest! Dairy messes with me a lot though.... -

Anything dairy I seriously pay the price for ....Had some chicken at Disneyland this last Friday and it got stuck and I had to throw up. I also can't stand coffee anymore and fell in love with green tea. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -
Anyone notice a stall in the weight loss during week 3 transitioning to 4? Sorry if I sound petty! lol

Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass Surgery 10/24/2016
DelRey310 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself...I am Liz, 32 years old, I live in Santa Monica, Ca. I have a 12 year old daughter & a nine year old son. I had my surgery just five days ago. I have a lot of abdominal pain and I think the majority of it is coming from the carbon dioxide that was injected into my abdomen. Other than that I have been able to take multiple sips of Water at a time, as well as finish two Protein shakes during the day. I bought the Carmel shakes (the ones they gave to me at the hospital) called Opti Source which are really good. I also have vanilla from Premier Protein, chocolate & strawberry from GNC, & one from costco which is Organic and Plant Based called Orgain. I was a little worried because when I do sip, I am able to take a few sips and not feel so full...has anyone else experienced this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

Yeah that's true...Honestly everyone that I know that's has the bypass didn't lose less than 100lbs...I follow people on IG and of course here, and everyone has great success stories...I just get paranoid I guess...What is everyone eating these days during their week 3 & 4? Anyone having trouble with dairy? I can't handle dairy anymore...I also cant stand the smell or thought of coffee after surgery...and I was a big coffee drinker....Now I drink green tea instead, which is actually better for you anyways so that's a plus

Gastric Sleeve to RNY Bypass Revision ...Anyone had this yet?
DelRey310 replied to 1Day1Life4Now's topic in Revision Weight Loss Surgery Forums (NEW!)
I had the sleeve done in August 2014 & lost 70lbs just like you, and gained 20lbs back. I was still very far off from my goal weighing 260 at the time ....I tried diet, and diet pills and the most I would lose was 10-15 pounds which was super frustrating. My doctor decided it was time to convert me to the bypass. Like volleyball girl said ^^^ there is less restriction with the bypass. I can sip sip sip and not feel full or discomfort. The recovery is longer though for sure...more painful and lingers .....I can have soft foods now and I enjoyed my scrambled egg and ate very slowly and chewed it to mush. Today I was rushing when I had my egg and I felt really full 3/4 of the way and threw out the rest. I also felt uncomfortable & pain as well. Won't be doing that again. I also had a small size cottage cheese snack. I feel satisfied after I eat, nor really that full feeling as I did with the sleeve. We shouldn't eat until we feel that full feeing anyways, we should just feel satisfied good luck and you will do just fine ! Yes the whole liquid thing is a pain but stay focused on the bigger picture . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App -

@@Sherri I don't feel really any tightness there, but a little pain rather & it's also still very bruised. I still have stomach pain but it has lessened so much. Each day I get better. My incisions are almost completely healed. I am down 14lbs. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
