Today is Day 1 of my pre-op diet. For the next 15 days I am to eliminate breads, sugar, fruits, and most vegetables. I am to focus on Protein and keep my carbs to under 20 grams a day. Happy I can have solid foods, but will need to really track those carbs as they add up quickly.
Wish me luck! My surgery is scheduled for Sep 29 at Swedish in Seattle with Dr. McMahon.
