Thanks for all the heartfelt and honest opinions and thoughts. It's nice to know I am not the only person in this cruel world who has compassion for her/his fellow man.

I have 9ccs in my VG band. I do have some restriction, but still have to watch what I eat. Sweets and the bad stuff go down easily, while I have difficulty with the good for me stuff. Weight loss has been slow and sometimes discerning and even disgusting. But at least the weight is coming off. I am back to my high school graduation weight. I still have a long way to go though. We are going camping with family & a friend. Even our Basset hound is going. Hubby & our hound just left, I am heading down in the am, unfortunately I have to work ten hours tonight. My weekend will officially start at 9am cst Saturday morning.

My sis lives 45 minutes north of GR in the Morley Stanwood/Howard City area. My folks and a lot of family live there too.

Sorry for your delay in the process. But once your iron levels are good you will be banded. Now is a good time to stock up on protein shakes, powder protein, jello and all that stuff you will need. Plus start an exercise routine and practice not drinking with meals and follow the banster rules. Best of luck!

I know most people who have pets like to brag them up, so here is your opportunity. DH and I are owned by a 1 year old AKC registered Red and White Basset Hound named Ethan James. We also have a 9 year old Black Labrador named Harley who lives in Michigan with my folks. He was raised on the farm and will remain there. Now please share your stories.

I am a true country girl, born and raised and lived 30+ years in the woods of central lower Michigan. I moved to SD in 2003, married in 2004 and make my home in a city of about 15,000. For the most part we have decent neighbors. With exception to the Yeah Whos that live across the street. They boom their music, peel out on their motorcycles, burn donuts in the street (they left two back circles), throw fast food wrappers, pop cans and such on the ground to name just a few. I don't want to cause a stink, but I want some resolution to the problem. Should I call the law if this continues, just try to ignore them, or something else? Any advice would be awesome.

I had/have a fatty liver. I had to be on a liquid diet two weeks prior to my surgery to shrink the size of my liver. But all went well. Best of luck to you!
