I am 8 days post op of my rny. I lost 20 pounds by day 7 but today I gained a pound. Does anyone else have there issues. Why is this happening. It made me so upset when I stepped on scale

Thank you everyone. I'm trying to concentrate on anything but the scale. -
I am 5 days post op and have lost 14 pounds starting weight was 240. Today's weight 226. It's unbelievable I cried. Happy tears of course. I stepped on scale 5 times because I couldn't believe it and each time the scale said 226.6

Thank you everyone sadly today 8 days post op I have gained a pound idk why ? ;( at 7 days post op I was down 20 pounds now I'm only down 19 -

Thank you. And iv been walking a lot. And consuming fluids all through out the day -
I am 2 days post opp in so much pain. Did anyone else have a lot of pain. Or did anyone get sent home with a drain

I had surgery two days ago. I'm home sense last nighg in soooo much pain. I have a drain for a week and it is so uncomfortable. I'm almost afraid to move. -
So my surgery date is coming up aug 19 th I'm more then excited but one concern I have is thag I won't be able to continue to not smoke after surgery. I'm getting gastric bypass and was wondering if anyone had any advise for me. I no smoking is bad in general but it's not easy quitting

The electric cig don't work for me. I slowed down for about a week and then with everything going in plus being hungry because of this two week diet I started smoking more again. I guess I just have to do it
