Help me

I personally like the Atkins Protein shake in chocolate, when it's cold it really good. It ALMOST makes you forget it's a Protein Shake.

Have you tried eating steamed/baked fish or baked chicken for your protein. You are on your third week now, you can have oatmeal, eggs, and grits for Breakfast and different things for lunch and dinner. I was also banded on 10/1 and am able to tolerate all foods without nausea. As for liquids, my nutrionist said Diet Snapple is good to drink also (and doesn't everyone have a favorite Snapple flavor). Crystal light is good (Raspberry Ice is my favorite).

Good Luck

    How soon can you?

Hello, You probably may want to wait about 5 days. Although immediately after the surgery I felt perfectly fine, as the days went on, I realized I would get tired quickly. Remember, you won't be "eating" so your energy level will be low. Also about three days later I felt a little uncomfortable and it felt good to lay down after taking the pain medicine. Thenume

    Banded 18 days ago

Hello, I was banded 10/1/07 (15 days ago) and I didn't realize that "grumbling stomach" was a "side effect". My stomach grumbles at least once a day. It's comforting to know it's not just me! Do you feel as if your stomach can hold more food now? I'm a little nervous about band slippage and I want to know if my being able to eat a little more is normal. I haven't had any bad reaction to ANY food. I am eating solids now and everything seems fine. Is this the same for you? Sincerly thenume
