Thank you so much. They did have a little trouble finding it but all is well. I got 2 ccs for a total of 4. Prior to my pregnancy I had just hit my green zone at 6 ccs.

Has anyone recently started getting fills again after having a baby? I get my first fill tomorrow and I am worried because I can't feel my port. Would I know if it has flipped?

My 10 cc band is currently filled with 5 cc's. I have had 3 fills and I am still not in the green zone...or even getting near it. I was banned on 3/10/14. I realize everyone is different but I am curious of how long it took some of you guys to reach the green zone? And how many cc's were you at when you reached it? And how many fills you had before reaching it?

Thanks for the advice Bandista...how long was it until you felt like you hit the green zone? I know everyone is different but it's been interesting to see how long it took other banders. It seems like everyone kinda hit their stride at about the 6 month mark. And it seems like around 5-6.5 cc's for most people. Some are much luckier than others. Lol.

MsShayeB that is amazing. I was banned on 3/10 and started at 290 and now at 265. I am really struggling. I am still able to eat any and everything without any restriction at all. It's almost as if I never got the band. I'm really frustrated but am trying to soak on all the advise given. I only have 5 cc's so far so maybe I will hit my green zone soon.

My name is Shauntrell and I was banned 3/10/14. After the first 2 weeks of my liquid diet I had lost 18 lbs. I thought I was on the right track. After my 6 week post-op visit I was down a total of 22 lbs. I rcvd my first fill which was 3 cc's on 4/23/14. Afterwards, I felt no restriction at all and was hungry all the time. 12 week check up I rcvd a fill of .5 cc's and had only lost 4 lbs. 18 week checkup was 7/16...still feeling hungry and had only lost .5 lbs. My dr gave me another 1.5 cc's. I am currently at 5 cc's but still feeling no restriction at all. Any advice? My next appt is 8/27.

Thanks it helps to know I'm not alone. So you were banned in Dec and didn't reach your green zone until May? Maybe I just need to give it more time. Next month will be 6 months for me. I go for my next follow up 8/27 and I should get my 4th fill. Thanks again.

Thank you guys so much for the support. Lisa I really reflected on the questions you asked and realize I'm really probably more frustrated with myself than the weight loss process. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations of what the band should do. I always thought if I worked hard in the gym the band would help restrict the amount of food I am able to eat and it would be a win win. But when I was able to eat the same amount I have been used to eating I started getting frustrated...thus making terrible food choices which resulted in me not wanting to work out as much as I should. Then I spiraled out of control. Thanks for the reality check. I needed it.
