Sorry I'm still learning to use this app and just found my thread and all your responses. Thank you. I have 10 days to go until surgery and I'm really excited yet scared. The pre op diet has been hard for me it is 700 cal a day for 4 weeks and I'm not proud to say I messed up on 5 meals to date. I'm planning to be on a Fluid diet only for the next 10 days consisting of my shakes and herbal tea only. Thank you for all your info it has helped to get my head in the right place

Hi all I'm new to posting I have gained so much knowledge and reassurance from your posts but I have a question: Did anyone NOT have success with the pre op diet and not shrink their liver. If so what was the outcome on day of surgery? I'm struggling with the pre op diet. Thanks
