Hello world! My name is Misty. I am 32 and happily married. I don't have any children but I do share my husband with 2 doxies. My life has been amazing! I married the man of my dreams in 2006. Bought our first home in 2007 and it's been wonderful. I've dealt with my weight my entire life. My husband, friends and family love me just the same as if I were the smallest person they'd met. Actually I'm fine being a big girl. I love me... if I had to choose, I'd be best friends with me. I love life, everything it has to offer. BUT heart disease runs in my family along with diabetes and high everything else. I will not be trapped by those things. That's one of the main reasons I choose weight loss surgery. Here is GA my surgery would have cost $19,000. Insurance would not even think of paying for it... even more so because I don't have any pre-existing health problems. I'm healthy as a horse now... but who knows how long that will last. Either way Mexico was the answer. My surgery is scheduled for next Sunday. I can't wait to start this new journey.
