RNY - how are you feeling?

Having a hard time getting my proteins in as well. They have me on a 100g daily requirement and am getting roughly half that. The big protein intake for me is supposed to be "double-milk". Basically 8 oz of skim milk with a 1/3 cup of non-fat powdered milk. Only problem is that my taste is messed up for the moment and those glasses of milk are torture to get down. Will be easier when I get to pureed foods where I can add more protein rich stuff in...but that's 9 more days from now.

    Need AUGUST bypass buddies!

So, it's the day after surgery and everything is going good. The nurses have given me the nickname of "road-runner" as I have completed 30 laps of the ward so far (cumulative). No nausea or vomiting, little pain and little gas. Was most happy to get my catheter out this morning Just waiting on fluid test this morning so I can move to the clear liquids and away from the ice chips.
