I have had the gurgle from day one. I have basically just gotten used to it. Sometimes it does happen and cause a little embarrassment, but I figured it was just apart of it. I even started taking pro-biotics but it still doesn't seem to help. So, I accepted it for what it is.

What is the weight loss like post op?
denisebatson replied to vikas77721's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I lost somewhere near 16 lbs within my first few days, mainly because of the liquid diet. It will level out once you are eating regular food again. I now lose about 2 lbs a week. -
What you are going through is normal. I got banded on July 30 and was starving all the time after I started healing. I have had three fills so far and am still a little hungry between. I am getting another fill on the 31st of October, I am sure I won't be so hungry anymore. Hang in there! One day at a time!

I hadn't had a period in two years. I had surgery July 30th and the weight is coming off. I only have one issue and that is since surgery I have been spotting monthly very light. Very similar to a period. I have the lower back pain but not really cramping. I was wondering if anyone else ran into this same issue and what I should do about it. Should I contact my doctor, or is it just a part of rapid weight loss?

Here is a great low carb recipe that I made up myself: 4 skinless boneless chicken breast 3 tblsp butter tblsp garlic powder 4 tblsp lemon juice. 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese Pre heat oven to 375. Place chicken in a non-stick baking pan. Pour lemon juice over chicken...sprinkle garlic powder over it, then thin slice butter and lay it randomly over chicken. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top. Bake 45 minutes. You know it is done when your cheese turns golden brown. A tasty recipe

Hi all, I just had my lap band done yesterday. When will the pain begin to subside?
