Cody's Mom, I'm self pay and considering Mexico, would you mind sharing some info; What other expenses will you have? I'm guessing air and hotel? How long will you be in Mexico? How are you doing your pre-op and post-ops? TIA!

I am so sorry all of you have had such horrific complications! I about struggling with the decision to have the bypass surgery. There are so many more non-complication stories out there but the reality is, things to happen. I know someone that passed from complications, hence my struggle... My question to those that have had complications and have lost weight... Would you honestly do it again?

I am curious about having the surgery out of the country. How does all the pre op appointments and everything work? I can't afford to stay long term in Mexico even though I'd love to!!!
