Yes I had complete gastric bypass about 5 years ago .The problem I had was I noticed my fibromyalgia med that was keeping me controlled no longer did.I have severe arthritis in my both knees also.What I did was have my pain meds and fibromyalgia meds taking lower doses but more often. Time release meds are going to pass through your system much faster so you are not getting full benefit.So another thing I did was loratab 10mg ordered every 4 to 6 hrs. I broke in half but took more often.Loratab 5 mg every 2 to 3 hours.I ended up going higher on my cybalta and lyrica also and taking twice aday instead of once a day. You need a MD who understands the gastric bypass and fibromyalgia.
