How long were you in the hospital? Did you have any complications?

Oh I know the feeling! I told my husband that I can't wait to start on. liquids because that just means I'm that much closer.

I had an appt with my surgeon this morning... Just to sign the consent forms and answer any of my questions. I am sure it's really to get a face to face before surgery. I went to the store and got some low sodium chicken broth and SF Jello. I can't find already made SF pudding though. I am mentally packing my hospital bag.

I know what you mean. I do so well logging my food for about 2 weeks and then I fall off.

I have been taking Biotin for over a month now and my surgery is on the 8th. I am hoping to not have too much hair loss because my hair is already extremely thin.

Yes... Apparently they have you up and walking the same day as your surgery.

My date is Sept. 8th.

Lucky you.... I wish I could say I didn't have an appetite. I try to walk on the treadmill or on the track for 30-45 minutes, do 30 minutes on the bike and 20-30 minutes on the elliptical. I prefer walking outside but the rain is too unpredictable and happens too frequently for that. I am trying to work my way up to spinning but I want to lose more weight first.

I guess you can say that I have been eating all my favorites. I will only do it once a day because I don't want to go crazy and start gaining.... And I'm keeping the portions under control by sharing with my husband or eating half and saving the other half. What about you two.... How's your eating right now? Are you exercising?

They have chocolate and vanilla single packets that are around 2 bucks.... So you can try them before buying a bag. The bag is around $25 and the containers (2 sizes) are $35-$45. They also have the ready to drink 4 packs.... I'm always afraid those will taste too sweet though, I like being able to control the taste depending on my mood. GNC has a card that is $15 but you save money on what you buy so it works out better.

I heard the gas-x doesn't help very much. I had to deal with the gas when I had my tubes tied and I was seriously good to go after the 2nd day. That was a long time ago though.

I like the lean shakes from the GNC. they taste great even if you just add Water. I normally use 30 cal almond milk and ice so I can blend it up so it's smooth and thick. I just got piña colada and it's awesome. I don't know about the iron, I just have a multi Vitamin, B-12, Biotin and a probiotic. I use tums for Calcium and everything is chewable or just dissolves in your mouth. I have one teenager so I don't have much to worry about with kids but I have a dog that I might have to wear padding around. My hospital stay is supposed to be in on Monday morning and released on Tuesday evening. I hope so because I am not a fan of hanging out in the hospital for too long. How long is your hospital stay?

I am also excited and can't shake the nervous feeling. I have my pre-op on Tuesday but I did the lab work today. I know the time is just going to fly by but I'm ready. I have been making a list and adding to it every time someone mentions something on here. You know the basics like iPad, phone, chargers.... But someone mentioned how they brought big undies and clothes to wear home so that nothing fit too tight around their stomach. Ppl have mentioned slippers, a robe, Chapstick, personal hygiene products (most hospitals will provide that but if you want your own lotions and stuff) and shoes you can walk in.
