I was sleeved in 8/12/14. On 6/25 I was 395 and as of today, I am 306! I still have a long ways to go, but I'm getting there!

Thanks everyone! I weighed this morning and I was at 299! I still have a long way to go, but I'm getting closer! Here is a before and after. The before was at a friends wedding May 2013 and the after was a few weeks ago.

Whereabouts in TX are you? I'm in Houston and only a few people other than mom & hubby knew I had the surgery.

I used/use the GNC Lean 25 shake powder mix and also the Isopure powder.

I'm doing great also. Each day gets easier and easier. I'm getting all my Protein in but can only get about 48oz of liquid in so far. I start the pureed stage Wednesday! I can not wait...LOL

How are all of the August 12th sleevers doing?

Here it is 6 days post op and I'm feeling ok. The first few days I was having major regrets! But as long as I stay on schedule with my pain meds, I am feeling pretty good. I'm trying to ween myself from every 4 hours to every 8 hours and each time I feel better and better!! The 2 incisions do not hurt at all but my stomach muscles are what hurt the worst! Lol. Trying to get in my protein shakes and water throughout the day is still a struggle, but I have found that if I keep a water bottle and a cup of crushed ice with me, it really helps on the fluid intake. My taste buds have changed and it's hard to get my protein shakes in because they taste so sweet to me now! I was shocked that my surgeon called on Saturday morning to check on me! I really appreciated that! I also seem to be very emotional in the evenings. I keep crying and telling my hubby I'm sorry he has to take care of me and I'm sorry I'm a burden. But each day that passes gets better and better! I didn't cry at all yesterday! Lol

I finally found a combination that I can handle for the time being. 1 scoop Vanilla Isopure, 1 scoop Chocolate Isopure, 1/2-1 T of PB2 and 12 oz of water. I divide it into 3 - 4 oz drinks and that is my b/l/d.

10 lbs in a week is good! I've only lost 7.4 but I'm very happy about it!!

TLC surgery in Houston, TX (Dr Yu & Dr Scarborough) do the single incision. There is a small incision (1/2 inch maybe) on your left side then an incision (about 3-4 inches) right across the belly button. I had mine on Tuesday by Dr Scarborough! I love it and there will be minimal scarring!

Thanks! Yes I walked a lot while in the hospital. Got released about 11 today! I'm doing ok but my stomach muscles are SO sore! Gas is better and at least I am not dry heaving like before! Thank goodness!!! The day of surgery and yesterday I was really regretting getting it done! But now I'm starting to be ok with it! Anyone else have those feeling of regret??

Heading to the hospital!!! Have to be there by 10 and surgery at 11:30!! I'm so excited!!!!
