I agree with Seppi. Even though you had tests done on your Gallbladder, it could still be that. I had Gallbladder attacks that were similar to what you are describing. INTENSE PAIN! And, they are in your back & abdomen. Gosh, I sure hope you figured this out!!! I am sorry you're going through this!

Situps? Were we all supposed to be doing situps?! I missed that post....

If I understand correctly, Funny simply volunteered to do the GFG Club just to give P'Nut a break. I never heard P'Nut complain or say she was going anywhere, I just think Funny just volunteered to be nice. It can be a lot of work to do all the stats every week. Am I understanding correctly?!? P'Nut is still here, just not the one updating the stats & everything.

Warning ADULT content XXX (please don't look if you're easily offended)
Dianechef replied to HunnyBun's topic in The Lounge
Okay, I just gotta chime in here... I have read this thread over & over. I thought you all had lost a few marbles because you actually LIKED doing this. I would rather do dishes & clean the house then give oral sex!! (Don't worry, hubby gets plenty of eveything else. HA!!!!!) But, Kare's nice little letter from her friend now has me intrigued. Maybe I am totally missing out on something here. I always thought it was about HIM - not ME!! I just might have to try this out. :grouphug: See the things you can learn on LBT!!! Who would of thought??!?! I gaurantee ya that my husband won't be complaining that I'm spending too much time here when he founds out where I learned this all from!! ROFL!! :girl_hug: -
Candy bars were the devil!! I would buy a whole box at Sam's Club & hide them. I'd eat them one by one until they were gone. I used to down 3 at a time. I felt so sick & didn't care!!! My favorites were butterfinger, twix, Reese's & snickers. Looking at them now makes me sick!! I haven't had a candybar in a year!!!! I also love mint oreos with a big glass of 2% milk. I still eat these every once in awhile, but only 2. I just count them into my calories for the day.

Hi Missie! (I am assuming that's your name?!?) :girl_hug: I have had the pain you described in your back & stomach. One night I was so miserable I just cried. I took some tylenol & it did nothing. I couldn't figure out the problem because i was eating fine & food was going down without PBing. But, just like you, the pain was much stronger after I ate. I went on a liquid diet for 3 days until the pain went away. I downed a whole gallon of Aloe Vera juice. Warm broth, hot chocolate, tea & Soups were my friends. I also used a heating pillow on my back. It eventually went away & I am feeling fine. I don't know if my problem is what you have, but I thought it was worth putting it out there to try! I wish I knew what it was so I could explain it better!! It is miserable!! Big HUGS to you!! You can make it through.

I don't have a recliner either. I also have a high bed too & had no problems getting in & out. I think those who DO have a recliner were very lucky, but it isn't necessary. My DH was willing to help me with anything, but he never had to. I was quite capable of doing it all. This surgery was really the easiest of any I've had.

My husband & I went to an all inclusive resort in Cancun & it was a dream vacation!! There where jacuzzi's in the room & the shower was so big you could lay down in it. You would love Cancun!!!!! I'd go back there in a heartbeat!!!!! :grouphug:

P'nut - How do you do it?! As I sat & read through your cute little messages to everyone I was just amazed at how sincere & personal you are in each one. You are such a good friend & know how to make people feel so good!! I know that when you put your *hugs* at the end of your note, you truly mean it. We are are so very thankful for you & the example you have been. AND....especially for making this GFG club such a good place to visit. WE ALL LOVE YOU!!! :grouphug:

I am married. I have lost 65 lbs & have had more attention from men then I ever had in my life. My husband has gained some weight. However, I would NEVER consider letting my eyes wander for one second. Take care of your wife & let her know how much you love her, no matter what size she is. She is probably feeling a little insecure. I would be too!! Show her how much you LOVE her & I gaurantee your marriage will improve BIG TIME!!

Hey Girls, I haven't done that last 2 challenges for the very same reason!! LBT became my life & I was on here 24/7. One day I overheard my 7 yr old talking to a friend. The friend said - "Hey, where is your Mom at? I haven't seen her in awhile?" My son said - "She's probably on the computer. That's all she does all day." I realized that LBT had literally taken over my life. I decided I would log in only in the morning & night. It was hard!! I just LOVE this place!! :Banane56: The fact that we ALL are overweight & had to have surgery for it leads me to believe that he majority of us may have some type of addicitive personality just like Telly said. I AM ONE OF THEM!!!!!! I admit it. Okay, not sure what my point it except to say - BEEN THERE!! DONE THAT!!

Do you have a reward for yourself when you hit goal?
Dianechef replied to Dianechef's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Well, I just gotta say that running in a marathon, or running PERIOD would be the very last thing on my list. Actually, it wouldn't even be on my list!! I am not a runner. But, I gotta say that I admire those who do. :clap2: Maybe once I got my boobs done, it would be more enjoyable. Right now, all I get are bruises on my chin & knees when I run. ROFL!! It ain't a pretty sight. :rolleyes -
Gosh, I've been on losts of low carb diets & thought I had heard of it all. But, I can't say that I have ever heard of Almond flour. It sounds yummy!

I am getting personal messages sent to me from MEN on this forum that are a little creepy. Even though I don't respond, I will still find more in my box the next day. They say things like HOT MAMA and SEXY GIRL & want my advice or help. Anyone else getting these messages are am I the only lucky one?! :rolleyes Up to this point, I had felt safe posting my pictures on this board, but now I'm not quite sure. My husband is disgusted by it.

Emilee - That place in the pictures is Figi. My husband looked it up & it's like $5,000 a night & it was booked up for the next 2 years. -

Funny - yep, I believe that place is in Figi. Wouldn't that be a place to die for?!? I would be in heaven. Wheetsin - If you really go to Figi, I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!! Okay, so there's no BBQ. But, we can dream!!! Now, about that reward...... I'm still thinking about it. You guys have some great ideas here. I still wish I had started a money jar a year ago! -
Hey Tricia!! I think we're talking about the same person!! I'll PM you!

Rockin'Robyn - I love what you did!! Shaving off your husbands uni-brow is hilarious!! And, you threw a party for it. Love it! Funny - The jar idea is brilliant! I should have been doing that a LONG time ago. When you're done, you're going to have over a million dollars in there from all the great, healthy choices you've made lately!! SMART, SMART!! Woodys - A "dirty" weekend with my husband - hmmmmm..... I am just imagining in my mind what this weekend would be like. I think this would motivate my husband more then it would me!!! ROFL! YOU GO GIRL!! Melissa - The weekend get-away is tempting!!!! I'm still debating over the Spa Day. I've never spent $500 on myself, maybe it's time to just suck it up & indulge myself. KEEP THE GREAT COMMENTS COMING!!! -
Advice needed - strange feeling in my throat
Dianechef replied to Wendy_UK's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I've had that feeling!! I had eaten some chicken & had lots of pain. After an hour of pacing & sweating, I finally threw it up. For 3 days I felt like something was lodged in my throat. It was very annoying. From what I've learned, it was my swollen stomach I was feeling. When it swells, it makes the band kinda sqeeze your insides & it hurts - kinda like something is sticking you. It eventually went down. I would stay on liquids & drink lots of WARM liquids. If you truly have the same problem as I did, it should go away. Good luck! It's not a fun feeling at all!!! -
GFG Club - Guess Funny's Apron Weight
Dianechef replied to PhotoNut's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Funny - I just read this thread!! WOW!! I am so excited for you. You're getting banded!! You're getting banded!! I was very concerned with I read about the blood clots. I have a friend who recently told me that her brother died on the operating table from a blood clot. He was doing a routine surgery for his knee. He was healthy & active with 4 children. He had no history of them!! So, I think your doctors made a very good choice. Now you KNOW how much they care about you. I think If I ever need plastic surgery I'll be calling your doc. I didn't have a last supper either & had NO GAS pains at all. The surgery was a breeze & I never used any pain medicine. The doctor told me he thought it was because I stayed on liquids right up until the surgery. BUT, it was VERY HARD not to eat!! If my husband weren't with me, I would have eaten tacos until I was sick. Good luck!!
