    Advocare shakes

Hello Bree.. I've never heard of those shakes. The shakes that my doctor told me to drink and are very delicious are Premier Protein shakes (30grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar). You can buy those only at a Sam's Club (related to Walmart stores). My favorite is chocolate flavor they also have strawberry and vanilla). Good luck on your sleeve! Many success!.

    Do you tell people?

Hi, I'm like some ppl here. I don't post anything on my facebook and I don't announce it. My family members do know. My mother has told relatives who I didn't want anyone to know either, but mom told. At my work no one knows and I don't intend to say anything at least not yet. But my reason was for my diabetes, blood pressure, migraines, fibromyalgia to disappear in time. So far no more medications for diabetes nor blood pressure. I believe its no one's business to know, but in time ppl will find out. It's up to you if you are ready or not ready to tell anyone. Good Luck to you!

    Special K protein shakes

Again that is way too much sugar. I buy mine at SAM's club I get my Protein shakes there. The are 30grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar. They have vanilla, crème strawberry and chocolate which is my favorite. Try looking for them there. Brand name is Premier Protein and bones has energy for everyday. I love them. premierprotein.com for info. Good luck!

OMG I just ate 6 chewy chips ahoy cookies

I agree with the quotes above. Don't buy them and you wont eat them. Out of sight out of mind. I love my jellos and popsicles(sugar free). My weakness is watermelon. So I won't be buying anymore for a very long time. Good luck!.

  11. Today i walked 1 hour at the track! It felt good!

  12. Yesterday I had my 2 wks post-op appt and it went very well. I've lost 8 lbs since my surgery which was July 28, That is a total of 18 lbs since my initial visit in the end of April 2014. I'm excited and hofpeful that finally this surgery will work for me and I will lose the weight once and for all. Another good news is that I'm off of my diabetes and high blood pressure medications. Going into this surgery my goal was to get rid of my diabetes. I was already on 3 medications for diabetes plus several other medications. In the beginning of April my primary doctor gave me a eye opening due to my diabetes. She said if my diabetes continued as it was progressing that within 10 years I would be on dialysis. And from that point I had to do something. This morning I went walking at the track for 20 minutes. I could have gone longer but I didn't want to over do it for the first time. I have an appt in 1 month and I would like to have my goal at 199lbs. Another reason I did my surgery was for my kids. I have three children none of who are married but still in college and 1 still in middle school. I want to be around for grandchildren and see them live their lifes. And another reason I want to experience living life to the fullest.
