Ive struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I know exactly where my weight came from but refuse to talk about that. As I grew up and kept gain weight my health was going down as the years went by. I have children who aren't married and still in school. I would like to be around to see them grow up and see them live their lifes. [/color][/font]
[font='comic sans ms'][color=rgb(128,0,128)]My diabetes has taken a toll on me. In April of 2014 my doctor told me if my illness continued as it was that in 10 yrs I would be in dialysis. So that was the reason I did this surgery. Four years prior I was tested positive for the breast cancer gene so then also I had a preventative double mastectomy along with a total hysterectomy to safe my life. [/color][/font]
[font='comic sans ms'][color=rgb(128,0,128)]Two weeks ago July 28 I had my sleeve surgery and it went great. I'm two weeks post and have lost a total of 18lbs so far. Today I went walking at the track to exercise. The only bad thing about this surgery was that I was soooo nervous and scared. After I was out of surgery and on my way on my journey there was nothing to be scared of. [/color][/font]

Ive been in website groups for breast cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia and now weight loss. I will be here for the long journey to get support and make new friends for life. :D [/color][/font]
