I booked with Dr Ramos-Kelly after reading many good reviews about him and his staff. I had the surgery scheduled for monday august 18th. I signed the contract which said the procedure date was aug 18. I wanted to spend a few days in San Diego before the surgery so the flight information I forwarded said I was arriving Friday aug 15. But I made it perfectly clear that I was to be picked on Monday. So Yesterday I get an email confirming that my surgery is booked for Friday! HUH! Attached to the email was even an incorrect hotel booking confirmation. Hopefully they can fix this and i don't have to cancel my plans in San Diego. Another thing that doesn't give me confidence is that they sprung a hidden charge on me. The email said I had to buy an insurance policy. This is the first im hearing of this. Im going through enough of an emotional rollercoaster with the pre-op liquid diet, i don't want to have to deal with this crap.

Day one down. 13 more to go.

Those photos of the room etc are great. I'm getting sleeved by Dr Kelly on aug 18. My support person (mom) was nervous about her sleeping arrangements in the hospital.

Im starting my preop diet soon. Its one week of shakes and low fat protein and one week of just shakes with a target of 800-1000 calories per day. Also three days of just clear liquids right before the surgery.

I''m also going from Canada to Mexico (Tijuana) my date is Aug 18 With Dr Ramos Kelly.

Mine is on August 18, with Dr Ramos Kelly. I'm genuinely nervous. Although I'm more worried about the flight to San Diego than the actual surgery strangely enough.
