  1. omg had my surgery on thursday. I have been in so much pain! I hope to be feeling better quickly! I hate how terrible I feel.

      Sorry, how terrible. But this too shall pass. Keep taking meds and walking. What hurts so badly? if it's sharp pain you are to call your doctor. Soreness is to be expected but not a great deal of pain. Rate it on the 1 to 10 scale for yourself to access.

      Did you have a hernia repair or gallbladder removal with your surgery? That would cause extra pain, but your doctor should be willing to provide you with appropriate pain management so that you are not so miserable. And if you have been given pain meds, do not hesitate to take them.

       

      My other thought is that to relieve the pulling pain that is inevitable from getting up and down, you can sit and / or sleep in a recliner for a few days.

       

      If the pain is from surgical CO2 settling in your shoulder, you should walk, walk, walk, use a heating pad, or use gasX strips under your tongue to help the gas release.
