Never made it. But I'm 5 ft 11 inches and look and feel better than I ever have. I've lost 116 pounds. Am an athlete. And, accept that scale numbers should not control our emotions. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App

Hi Everyone! Pink, congrats! You look great. Amylynns - great photos. Beni - hi Sunshine! So, I've been productive since moving back to CT with skinny mom. I'm half way through my real estate license class. I hope to have my license by mid-august. I am being woo-ed by a few Brokers. The "eating" situation with carb-only-skinny-mom is going OK. I've introduced her to some healthier menus and she actually likes some. However, the Cookies and chips on the counter really have tempted me. I'd give my will power a C+. In the past it would have been an F! Anyway, it's great to hear good stuff from all of you. Please stay in touch.... I miss and truly love y'all!! Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App

Hey everyone. So glad to see your posts!!! I need to know I'm not alone. I am in the process of moving home to CT. Got laid-off again. Third time in four years since moving to Philly. I'm petrified! She is 5ft 8in and never weighed over 130. She is probably 105. In her kitchen is Cookies, chips, pastas, potato's, etc. The healthiest thing in her house is iceburg lettuce! Which has no nutritional value at all. Sent from my XT1080 using the BariatricPal App

We've got this!

OK. Back on track. We've got this!!!

I'm frustrated, too. I gained about 5 back. But when I look in the mirror I see the person who was 120 pounds more. I really plateaued in Aug. And, I think it hindered my motivation. I haven't even broken into Wonderland yet. Sure, I'm 5ft 11 in, but it is still 23 pounds away.

Thanks Lisa. Doing better

Lisa, I've been suffering from the same thing. I need to stop. We've got this!

I needed your comment, hpa. I spent a lot of money on dinner w friends this week. We split the bill. And, it was not "fair" financially...but so worth being w friends. -
Hi gang! What's going on!
-
I'm with you! I do well for a week, then I eat pizza or Chinese or fast food. Then, I feel guilty about it. And, I too look in the mirror and see a fat girl. I keep gaining and loosing my the same 7 pounds. Because of the weather, I haven't been walking much. But, I am still playing pickleball.

Hey Gladiators! What's going on?

Walked 10 miles today with a little bit of running in there!

We got 24 inches of snow this weekend and I resorted to comfort foods and laziness. Ugh?!

Good morning. Reporting in. Just finished 2 weeks of the 3 protein shakes, 2 protein bars and 1 meal of protein and veg a day. Down 8 pounds and back to my lowest weight since surgery.... Hopefully this will jump start that plateau I've been on since Aug

Wildgoose- I know what you mean! I happen to live alone so I don't always have someone to share with. But, I have my Gladiators. Tonight I attended my Support Group meeting. I haven't been able to go for the past two months. The topic tonight mirrored what we have been talking about on here - getting back on track.

Bronx... I missed you. Holding your hand from Philly. You look great, by the way.

Way to go Lisa! Keep it up!!

Gladiators! We are back! Seems like we are slowly converting from "I did bad" to "look at me now".... Small steps. One day at a time.

Pink.... One day at a time. Pick one thing you will do better tomorrow.

Status of my 3 day liquid (ish) diet... It has been fairly easy so far.... Protein shake for breakfast. The weight watcher veg soup w chicken and white beans for lunch and dinner. Snacks included yogurt, herbal teas and I needed a protein bar yesterday afternoon before a big meeting. But all in all, it has been a success and has helped with some of the bloating from holiday eating. Tomorrow I'll integrate other protein. But so far, doing good without carbs (ie bread).
-
Amy - congrats on school. You rock!

Hi Gladiators! So, I am prepared for my 3 days of liquids(ish). In the crock pot is the Weight Watchers zero point vegetable soup. (Google it. It is filling and healthy). I did add chicken so I have protein in it. I also have almond milk and protein mix yogart and frozen blueberries for morning shake. Herbal teas. Pure Protein shakes for work. Three days if liquid(ish) to jump start the New Year!
