    Checking in to see how you are doing and feeling? I had my surgery August 11th, so glad I did it but it has not been easy. Down 35 lbs . Everyday I introduce something back in my system. Amazed how things can be really good or really bad.

    Usually it's gas but when mine was preventing me from getting fluids I had an X-ray that showed fluid around lung. Antibiotics and breathing treatments cleared it up.

    I also had my surgery on the 11th, the pain in my shoulder was so bad it was preventing me from getting enough of my fluids down. I went in for a chest X-ray to find that fluid was building around my left lung and that's what was hurting. I got some antibiotics and within a day or so relief.

    I am 1 day post op and feeling well. I don't have much memory of yesterday except waiting my turn. Good luck to all of you on your surgery dates

    Tomorrow is my big day! While I feel like I may not make it because I'm so hungry I'm very excited! I am down 8lbs but very pleased with any loss. Good luck to everyone.

    My surgery is scheduled for Aug 11, I'm very nervous about the pre op diet. It's one thing after surgery not being able to eat but how do you stay on track when you feel so weak during pre op?
