I went crazy and believed that I was going to die when I stopped drinking pop (soda). It is withdrawal. Caffeine is a really addictive drug as is sugar. I believe you should be fine. Check with your doctor too.
-
Call the doctor's office again or go to the office if he is there and asked to speak with your doctor directly or office coordinator. If you are in pain or stress maybe like it was said go to urgent care.

I hope you are doing well!

Two days after my surgery the hospital gave me lukewarm chicken broth. When it touched my lips I was feeling well enough to go home. I almost walked home. At home it is low-sodium Campbell's with white pepper.

The end of day 5 of 7 pre-op, I have noticed the number of coupons for my favorite restaurants have increase by 100% that come to my email inbox. They tell me to "come on down and enjoy a free appetizer on us. " I can't eat but I can dream. One day, I will be able to smell my favorite appetizer. Until then I will just dream! -

I want this to be the start towards a healthier lifestyle. Now, do I hate smelling the great food my family is eating Yes Yes H...Yes. I really want some potatoes skins with extra cheese and bacon. But, I am going to drink my broth and pack my bag for the hospital! -

Death and sadness.
LadyK44 replied to LindafromFlorida's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I lost my sister this April. It hurts so much that I am crying now. She had a massive hart attach in her bathroom after a workout. I doing this surgery for myself and family. I don't want to just die as it almost kills the ones you love. In the last 12 years I have also lost two baby boys and my parents. There are days I just cry. I want to live healthy and happy. This process is giving something positive to work on for life. I want to live above the pain. -
I amon the second day of the liquid diet! Today's meals include protien shakes, beef broth and jello. I feel like I back in the hospital after having my son. How is your energy level? Any great tasting broth recommendations? Good luck to you all!
