I love to go to garage sales,yard sales,estate sales. I am in a size 22 jeans.I found jeans size 20 to 14 name brand I cannot even imagine myself in a 14. BUT I GOT THEM.They look so small. Is is really possible???Can I possibly dream to be even smaller.I have been fat all my life. I hit the jackpot today. Now if I can just get in them. I even bought two pairs of size 7 Rocky Mountain Blues for a dollar a piece.I can dream cant I.Im dreaming big. Surgery date Nov 30th.

Glad you did well Big Paul.My surgery is Dec 1st. I am not looking forward to clear liquids. A frend told me about a product called Herb ox it is a powder chicken broth she said it was very tasty.

OMG Im so sorry.You have learned how and what to eat.You can keep the weight off. You can do this.Girl you lost over one hundred pounds you can do anything.

My hair fell out alot after my Hyst. But I had my gallbladder out last year and it did not come out as bad. I take a product called ambertose and for the first time in my life. I have had to cut my toenails and people have made comments on my hair getting thicker and I can tell the diffrence too. I did not notice that much till I saw a picture from the year of my Hyst and my now picture. Big diffrence. I pray I do not lose my hair again.I do not have that much to spare.I hope the Ambertose will help me to keep my hair this time. I saw this lady that bought a ponytail wig. It was the same color as her hair and it looked great.Good luck to you.

I am so sorry. It will get better I promise. I was divorced when my daughter was six and now she is turning 18. I can now say it is the best thing that ever happened to me.He beat my self estem down. Made me feel stupid.Made me feel fat.I am doing so much better than him now. One thing I never did was say anything negative about Mandy's dad in front of her Even though he owes me $40,000 in back child support. I let her see for herself and she did. You need someone that lifts you up. It will just take time.The best thing to do is stay busy,busy,busy. To get off Avandia and insulin, high blood pressure meds and Vitorion 10/40 and 2 asprin a day. Age 42 and BMI of 35. Mom and step mom of five and Grandmother of one. And to fit in those size 7 ROCKY MOUNTAIN BLUES Yeah baby Yeah

I got them to cover of course they turned me down the first time. APPEAL APPEAL APPEAL. I had 12 months of nutritiion counseling a phyc evaluation and more than two comorbities.Are you Railroad????

Im so sorry. Hope they find out what is going on so you can get off meds and drive again. My daughter has Vasa vagel it comes on if her sugar is low, she exercises or getting blood work.They did not put her on meds.She has had it since age 7.

Well im heading to Houston next Tuesday surgery Wed morning. I asked my doctor if he though I was making the right choice choosing the band.He said that he would not do RNY becuse my BMI is 35. So I guess the band and I are ment to be.My daughter will not be going to get banded with me. She got turned down. We will appeal after she turns 18 next month.That was the reason that she got turned down.I am all stocked up.I have my chewable gas x my heating pad.Two big containers of protien powder.I have been cooking and freezing broths. I have purchased some canned stuff (NASTY).Got my Flinstones .Six cases of fruit 2 0, Popcicles. Can you guys suggest anything else?????? Remember I am Diabetic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How long did they say it will take to to hear yes or no?I just this last year got my BMI above 35 so I decided to try to get the surgery approved.I was denied the first two times.I did manage to get it approved or we were changing to United next year.

Thank's now I have to figure out where to put them.We only have three closets in the house.I have gone threw them and got out what I cannot wear.Still no room.

I take a powder Ambertose.I have not been banded yet.But I was worried about losing my hair it is very thin or should I say was.I now get comments on haow much healthier my hair has gotten.My nails are growing for the first time in my life I have had to cut my toenails. No kidding. I hope that it will keep me from losing my hair after I am banded.

I take Ambertose it is a powder that helps lower blood suger.I can take it along with my meds. Metformin tears my stomach up BAD.I can eat and five min later I am on the pot.My colen feels like it has a brick in it and I wake up everynight at about 3am in pain. Just cant take Metformin.I whis I could it keeps the weight down but I think it is because you poop so much.

That is why I waited till Nov 30th for my surgery.I was sceduled for Nov 2nd.He only does them every two weeks. The doctors office called wanting to change it to the 16th. I said lets do it the 30th instead.If I have to miss Christmas meal it would be hard to miss both.

My doctor told me to eat lean Q's or something about that size container with meat and veggie. Till I go for my first fill. Report to him how much I can eat so he knows how much to fill.I would think I will be so ready to get off liquids and mushies.In afraid I am going to have a hard time the first five weeks.

I have been diabetic for almost twenty years.I have been told if I had had WLS surgery twenty years ago I would probably be on no meds at all after surgery.My BMI was not that high ten years ago. So get yourself healthy,exercise and get yourself banded. Find a diabetic specialist if you can. Maybe it will go away.

I have seen alot of people having band problems.How common is it.Band ersion, slipping.Is this that common.What do they do for these things.REMOVE the band.

When I got turned down I called and asked to speak to a manager. She helped me get approved.Have you tried talking to a manager?I was told you could only appeal three times in a year.

I have been reading your post. I do not see it what happened that you do not like us ? Im still new will be banded in two weeks but this support group is AWSOME.I have made some great new friends.I feel that they care and that they WILL get me through the hard times and good times.Lots of advice when I need it.I may not agree but I am thankfull for it. I would not want to go threw this with out THEM. Are you sure????

I go to yard sales,auctions and buy and resale. You would not belive the antiques you can get in a small town.We also buy ,redo and sell good old wood furniture. Made us about $7000.00 extra last year.Great tax right off. Sometimes I sell on Ebay.I work part-time and do this on the side so I can work part-time.
