Hey all....im.1.week post op my surgery date was July 14.

Has to be gas....i woke up with them this morning..I've been laying in a recliner since the surgery..i find it more relaxing. Anyway....i am having the pains right now and haven't even had any water yet....ughhhh it's Awefule...how long does it take to go away?

first of all 1 week post op you should not be eating any solid food at all.....so I'm confused when you say bite

I'm 1 week post op and was only allowed water the first week....the Dr has me on 2 more weeks full liquids and then hopefully I will be able to progress to pureed like baby food.

The only complaint I have ...thank God...is i tend to get pains similar to contractions 2 minutes apart. ...when sipping on water. I don't know if it's gas or not?

I'm a week out and have dizziness and nausea consistently when I do things for more than an hour. Example going to walmart.
