Week 6 check in 40 lbs gone
CheshireGirl replied to Momma_D's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Congratulations!! 40 lbs. gone is amazing! I think with 80% off our stomachs gone that our bodies aren't processing enough Protein. We need all the protein we can get to keep our hair from thinning and falling out. I am all about that. -
Congratulations truk! Wow your numbers are amazing and you just keep on going! Your hard work is paying off big time. You will definitely inspire the rest of us with your story! Thanks.

Calcium chews...when did you start taking them?
CheshireGirl replied to juls0102's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I started taking them the day after surgery. I was worried how they would feel in my stomach because everything else was liquid but they haven't given me any problems. -
I was sleeved on the 30th also and was told to take Mirolax everyday in my Protein drink. I was able to go yesterday with no problems but will only take 1/2 tsp. once a day. The Iron you are taking, along with different Vitamins and medications can cause constipation. Plus we are all probably not getting enough fluids to keep our systems regulated normally.

Bariatric Advantage Chewy Bites
CheshireGirl replied to rhayla's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
The chocolate ones are really rough but I can get the caramel ones down. I tried the lemon flavored sample the nutritionist gave me and they tasted like chalky Starburst candies, LOL. Don't give up our bodies really need the Vitamins, calcium and Iron.
