Well, the day has arrived and I am very nervous and scared. I know I need to have this done and have done so much research. My doctor is one of the best and I have complete confidence in him. I'm sure it's just fear of the unknown. Is it normal to worry about things like "How am I going to take my pills after the surgery??" Any advice from sleeve vets would be much appreciated!! Thanks :-)

Psychiatric Evaluation for ongoing patient
DENISE83 posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have been seeking a psychiatrist for treatment of depression for 5-6 years. When I contacted his office to get the psychiatric evaluation, they had no idea what I was talking about. I contacted my surgeon's office and they said I just needed a letter stating that he could think of no reason for me not to have the surgery, that none of my medications would interfere with the results and that I am having the surgery of my own free will. Has anyone else had to get one of these letters without the complete evaluation? If so, would I be able to get a copy (with all personal information blacked out, of course). Thank you so much.
