I'm sept 24 too. I'm headed to Juarez Mexico next Tuesday!!

*Lexie*. I'm also September 24. I'm heading to Juarez Mexico and my surgeon is Dr Jose Rodriguez. Where are you having yours?

I'm having my surgery on September 24 in Juarez with dr Rodriguez. How are things coming along? I haven't seen many people post who are heading to Juarez. Are you doing the preop. Mine starts September 8th.

I'm not sure how much support my man will be. In the past if I was dieting he would offer me treats. Then if I was not watching what I ate he was asking why I was eating. It's taken him many years to finally put on some weight and he needs to eat constantly to maintain. He has told me he will be finished smoking by the time I get back from Mexico (surgery on sept 24). Not sure I want to deal with his mood swings when I'm going to have enough of my own. That sounds like a rant but he's very supportive of my new stomach. I just think he doesn't realize I won't be his food buddy any longer. We've been on many adventures over the last 13 years and this will be no different. I know that people I associate with aren't going to change their eating habits just because I'm getting healthy!!

I'm always surprised when I see my reflection in a full length mirror. I don't feel fat. But my reflection says differently.

Looking on the outside the way I feel on the inside. Kid at heart!!

I've always wanted to be a runner and can't wait until I get some weight off so it won't be hard on my knees. I feel like I have an athlete buried deep inside that wants to get out!!

I'm so grateful that a co-worker shared her wls story with me. Otherwise I would not have had the courage to do more research and finally book my surgery date.

Hey to my fellow September Sleevers from Canada. I'll be heading to Juarez, Mexico for my sleeve surgery scheduled for September 24th! I know it's a ways to go yet, but everything has been brought together so quickly. I'm heading to Newfoundland for a 2 week vacation, then Sept 8th I start my pre-op diet. My surgeon doesn't use a liquid diet, but I'll be eating as much Protein as I can and limit my net carbs to 50 gr/day. I'll think about all of that when I get back from holidays. Good luck to everyone, can't wait to keep up on all of you who are having your surgery before I do.
