I feel your pain. My doctor's office is slow as well. It took them a week to mail me my surgery date and pre-op diet. BCBS took less than a week to approve me so hopefully you can make up lost time. I was on a time crunch so it drove me crazy with holdups and I had a bunch. Keep thinking positive thoughts

Since starting my journey in December I have lost about 30 lbs with some ups and downs. They did not give me an amount to lose before the 11th. My husband thought my face looked thinner after 24 hours. I will post my numbers during the pre-op process. -

Congrats on 8lbs! That is exciting. I was under my 1000 limit becuae I was sick of drinking. I did go to the gym while my husband made dinner. I think that helped. I feel more prepared for day two. My packet said something about Fiber did anyone get fiber sugesstions from their NUT? -

I love my ninja. It has three smoothie cups plus the blender. I have to drink liquid for all three meals having the cups makes it easier. -

I am Aug 11th. Today was my first day of the pre-op liquid diet. i am excited and a little nervous. My dr's office is slow so I only have a week before I got back to work. I was hoping for an earlier date. It is just a relief to have a date that is so clase after 6 month of hard work. -

How was week one of pre-op diet? I start tomorrow. I am nervouse since I nver got my packet with details in the mail. I had to go to their website so I feel like I am going in not fully knowing it all. What was the hard part for week one? I think I will miss chewing. I do have a last dinner planned for Saturday, my one cheat meal. -

My husband has been against it but has accepted what I am doing. At first he did not want to even come to the hospital. I think he realized that I was determined. One suggestion would to see a therapist who works with bariatric patients. I saw one and was helpful with talking to my husband. -

I started shopping for my pre-opp diet. Costco has some good deals on protein powder and clear liquids. My concern is all the artifical sugar and food dies. Has anyone found any sugar free option made with stevia or without tons of food coloring? -

Ginko helped when I cut my caffine addiction. It took the edge off. Getting off suger was harder. I sart my pre-op diet on Monday. -
