Hey,
I hear you. The first 3 weeks my doc requires thin liquids only. I thought I would die. I had moments of depression, anger, and starvation. When I called and told the office that I was really hungry, the doc said to add more Protein (which meant one or two more proteint supplements in the day). The protein is what holds you over. How much protein are you taking in? My doc wanted me to get in 80g.
Sometimes my stomach is gurgling and I think it's saying that I'm hungry but the doc said it is actually the process of the liquid going throgh the band, etc.
I am just starting soft foods. I NEVER feel full. Since I am only 3 weeks out he would not give me a fill until I am able to take in soft foods with no problem.
Hang in there. Are you getting enough calories? I found when I added 1 or two shakes I actually lost more weight. Who can explain it? It is frustrating. Let me know how it works out for you.
Take care,
Shelby
